Hi, I'd really like to be able to buy one of the grey and black long sleeve Under Armour tops that Yuzu wears during practices. Any idea how to get one? I didn't see it anywhere on the English or Japanese UA websites. Thanks!

Today l went to the Hanyu Yuzuru exhibition. It's not just about skating but about the earthquake in Japan in 2011. I think he gave us the chance to reconsider it. It consists of pictures of the disaster and some costumus he wore after it. The pictures are from when it's happened to now. Some places are getting as usuall, but some are still under hard situation. He visited the place and meet people who experienced it. After he got the gold medal in Olympic and visited the people it makes them so happy. I'm a Japanese and this exhibition reminds me of at that time and I appreciate it. This exhibition has the title which …

Dear Yuzuru fans, To repeat what I thought could be some steps/strategies to put pressure on ISU about the issue of fair scoring: * First step must be to include in Olympic Commitee in every communication made on social media. * Secondly, unfair scoring is not only recent, there is a whole book about it: The Second Mark. Courage, Corruption, and the Battle for Olympic Gold. We can use lots of content from the book to justify that ISU judges have been biased and corrupted especially when it comes to Olympics and that we do not want the history to repeat. And yes, no mention of Yuzuru here, the focus should be demanding that unbaised judges sh…

Hello dear Fanyus, I need your help! I've only recently joined this fandom and I actually just joined this forum I hope I'm doing things right I have no clue tbh. I'll cut it short. I'm a composer and I composed a piece for Yuzu to skate. I know that it's a near to impossible dream but I won't give up until I try everything I can. So my question to you is that how can my music reach him? I know that he has no social media. I couldn't find any contact information of his management team either. My best shot is to dm Brian, Tracy and Shae-Lynn but it's just such a hard thing to get noticed from instagram. Is there anything that I'm missing in here? Is there any other wa…

All SEIMEI, all the time. Old SEIMEI, new SEIMEI. Pic spamming, gif giving. Gushing encouraged.

Updated [21/04/21] sorry this will most definitely be the final update. We've recieved messages from over 40 countries and are overwhelmed with joy at the response! As there are only 3 days left, we'd like to make one final push so if you haven't sent a message in yet please do so as soon as possible!!! Hello everyone! After watching Yuzuru skate at worlds, I wanted to do something to show the love and support of Fanyus, through both the highs and lows of his career. For this reason, I started this banner project which I will send to the JSF once completed. Let's cheer Yuzuru on into the next season and the Beijing Olympics! …

Hello everyone! I'm not a new Fanyu, but I am new to the Planet, so it's nice to meet you all! I'm honestly so proud of Yuzu after his Short Program and Free Skate, I'm super excited for his Gala skate on Sunday, I just hope proper safety precautions are in place and that Yuzu and everyone else stays safe. I was wondering how other Fanyus cheer for Yuzu whenever he's participating in a skating event (competition or ice show). Anytime there's a skating event that Yuzu's part of, I always get together my lucky cats and all my Pooh things to cheer for him and wish him good luck with his skates. I also bake and decorate cookies in support of him. These…

Dear Yuzuru fans, I am a 50 year old mom who likes figure skating and is a Yuzuru fan. I am very new to this planet (3 weeks now) but I am already fascinated of this young man's talents and amazing journey in life. As you know, after every Yuzuru performance the rink is covered with Poohs and they are donated to children in the city/country where the competition is held. However, this year it will not be possible to do so and being a mother myself, I think this is a big shame. As you know, this year's Worlds will be held in Stockholm very soon (22-28 March) and I thought that we can change this sad fact into good news for children: my suggestion is to st…

Dear satellites and friends March 11th is approaching and it will mark the 10th Anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. Joining the commemorations, we have prepared a special stream on Saturday 13, 16:00 CEST. Please join us as usual via Twitch or planethanyu.com/tv The hashtag we'll be using is #PlanetHanyuCommemorates110311 We would also like to encourage you to donate to charities or projects focused on people in the affected areas and reconstruction’s efforts. The amount doesn't matter and there is indeed some possibilities to help without spending money. Here a few suggestions: The Great East Jap…

Post and discuss old and new videos Old but gold:

Hello dear satellites! During our recent #YuzuSkatingParty an interesting idea came up: Since Pooh rain is impossible in these days, we thought of using a twitter hashtag where we could thank Yuzuru for his performance instead of the usual Pooh rain. Perhaps we could add images of Pooh bears etc. Maybe we'll already get a chance to use it next weekend during Japanese Nationals! Some hashtags that were suggested were: #YuzuPoohRain #PoohRain4Yuzu #PoohRainForYuzu and some JNats specific hashtag: #YuzuJNats2020 #YuzuruJNats2020 #YuzuruNationals2020 Please discuss here, what is t…

Hello from YuzuSkatingParty team! For our next streaming parties, we are planning on showing some Yuzu documentaries and interviews. We already have a long list of videos that are subbed, but there are also some that have a translation and a video without subtitles. We are currently in the process of organizing the playlists for the following streaming parties, and we'd like to start subbing some of those videos, that would then be premiered during our Twitch streams. Here's a list of the unsubbed material we've accumulated so far: We already got the permission for the first video, the interview by Shuzo Matsu…

So, I'll be in Tokyo/Kyoto in late March, and I wanted to know if there were any places that stock anything Yuzu? I've heard of the gum and the various magazines, but if there's anything more (or if you know of specific places that are sure to have the magazines), definitely let me know! ありがとございます！

The idea of a page for Yuzu on Wikiquote is taking concrete shape now, so I created this discussion thread here on the Planet to share quotes and exchange opinions. Here is the latest update on the page: Yuzuru Hanyu on Wikiquote The two main purposes of this project: - Bring some structure into the wild potpourri of famous Yuzu quotes, so that fans can find them easily with the exact source and proper translations. - Introduce Yuzu to the world, not only as a successful athlete but also as an eloquent speaker with impactful and iconic words. What needs to be discussed: 1. structure and sorting of the quotes (chronolog…
