I am starting this thread to help overseas (i.e., outside of Japan) viewers access Japanese TV channels. isakura and forjoytv are two main websites that offer fairly comprehensive access to Japanese TV channels. I personally prefer the format of forjoytv which has an easy download option, but it does not include Fujitv channels - which is where ISU World Championship events are shown. As fanyus, we always say that Yuzu is our light, and it's true in many ways. His skating gives us comfort when we are suffering in darkness. His unrelenting resilience inspires us with strength and hope to fight the darkness. But I never thought that this claim had an even deeper meaning until I was facing my retirement. So, after getting the OK from Hydro and staff, I'm starting this thread to discuss Yuzuru's chances at getting that second OGM he dreams of and that we all want for him. It's been a really difficult season and there are many concerns among us fans, so I think one way to try to survive until the Olympics is to discuss this and to compile a list of Pro and Con arguments for his chances of success. Of course, the aim is to have more pros than cons, but I think it's best to be honest and try to view things realistically (I personally think even so, the pros will outweigh the cons). Now that the kuyashii has had time to burn and settle, what do you think Yuzu's program layouts will be for upcoming events? Who thinks he's going to re-arrange his SP to get that combo in the bonus section? Will he bring back the lutz? It can be argued that he's actually losing points by doing the 3a sequence since his 3a has a higher BV and so would get higher GOE points than a 3 loop or flip. Today l went to the Hanyu Yuzuru exhibition. It's not just about skating but about the earthquake in Japan in 2011. I think he gave us the chance to reconsider it. It consists of pictures of the disaster and some costumus he wore after it. The pictures are from when it's happened to now. Some places are getting as usuall, but some are still under hard situation. He visited the place and meet people who experienced it.
