Hello everyone this is my first post here and I am not native speaker in English so I'm sorry for my mistakes in advance ^^ I'm a third year psychology student from Turkey and yesterday I got a mail from my school that I learned that I received an achievement/success scholarship (it is given to only 5 people each year.). When I found out this I started to cry because I had never been a successful student before this year. So I just thought about my school journey and I realised how Yuzuru's life story and his determination affected me. I was studying for university entrance exam when I first met with Yuzuru. At back time, I was so hopeless about myself because I d…

Hi everyone, we'd like to hear your opinion about the following question: Do you plan to follow figure skating competitions in the future? If yes, what kind of competitions? Please vote in the poll. Your opinion is important because we'll consider them when deciding about the future organisation of the competition subforum. Thank you very much!

So I was looking for a good matcha tea and discovered, that there is no real 'Japanese food' thread here, so I thought I would open one. What are your favorite Japanese dishes and snacks? Drinks? What would like to to try once? Mine are: - Sushi! (that's a given) LOOOOOOVE good sushi! - and I also like Okonomyaki - sometimes I enjoy taro mochi's, but it's very sweet so I can't eat much of it at once - and I have started drinking matcha tea pretty often, although sometimes I allow myself a glass of calpis then and now What I want to try some day: - Takoyaki - Some authentic chicken or salmon teriyak…

We have threads for Yuzu fan art, but what about the rest? Do you paint or draw? Do you make edits? Any other kind of hobby where you build or create something? Do you know an amazing artist whose creations we should see? Post, share, let us see stuff! Check out the Instagram account of Tanaka Tatsuya. He makes amazing miniatures.

World Cup is beginning in...10 minutes! Are there any football fans here? Here are the groups & teams of World Cup '22: https://www.fifa.com/fifaplus/en/tournaments/mens/worldcup/qatar2022 When I was a kid I always rooted for Brazil, and I also liked Croatia ever since they win the bronze at FIFA '98. I like some other Central/South American teams too. I don't follow football as much as I used to before but I still watch World Cup/Euros or some other bigger tournaments (no club football though). World Cup, here we go!

I thought it might be cute to have a topic (strictly pg-13 ofc ) on the dreams that we make about Yuzu. Since I dream him very often, I think it would be fun to have a place to share our dreams! Since so often we ignore them and forget about them, but I think they are cute and all, I don't know. I might be the only one thinking this, but okay! Let me know if it's an appropriate topic. I guess it's just for playing a little, so I put it in the Junk section. So, tonight I dreamed that I was in a big hotel and there was, apparently, Yuzuru coming. I don't know if there was a competition or not, but I was behind, like, two or three of his fans who were walking to…

Spoiler See, that's what baffles me — even though Japan doesn't implement strict measures of any sorts the infection rate is similar to South Korea (which has done aggressive testing and mitigation steps for the population). I take it (from youtube videos about life in Japan that I came across) that most measures have been a personal initiative (eg. WFH order originated from the company itself) instead of the (central) government's recommendation or order. Japan might be able to pull strict measure once it's needed but still, timing is key, and that's...just baffles me still... ...well Singapore is located right at the equator (warm a…

A topic dedicated entirely to mascots characters. Whether they represent a company, an important event, a sports team... a very specific jail... everything is welcomed. Inspired by my recently discovered collection of Kumamon reaction pics and @liha and also my current ava. Go ahead and share your mascot collection, have fun, be a little silly, because in the end we just want to loosen up and collect reaction pictures of unintentional memes or at least I do, that's what 98% of my Kumamon folder consists of anyway.

I didn't know where else to put this... I found the live version of 'Hoochie Coochie Man' that Yuzuru used in PW (thanks Google + Planet Hanyu - here it is on spotify if anyone wanted it) but I'm looking for the specific version of PW he skated to. The original song is beautiful but I'd like an instrumental version like the one he used. Thanks!

Choose one and then ask our own Tango de Roxanne or Phantom of the Opera?

Did you guys know now nobunari oda has fanstagram? Since not many people follow it so i initiate to promote it here. The fanstagram is @team_nobunarioda

Okay y'all, so I'm new to buying photobooks. And I'm trying to figure out which photobook contains more pyeongchang photos, since I really liked his outfits in that one. So which one has more or better photos y'all- The 2018-2019 (pink cover) Jewels photobook or the 2017-2018 (sea foam green) Ice Jewels photobook? Pls help this poor soul Like I've seen what the photos are in the 2017-2018 one since there was unboxing videos of it (and i really liked the pics), but no one's showing the pink one so I'm stuck. But if yall got any other recommendations of magazine's or photobooks with good pics, pls send them my way. Also any other kind of merch li…

Hi! Do you know anything about Saya (Yuzu's sister)? I googled her name and anything popped up. Thank you

Hi! The other day I watched this video, very cute. Is the girl at 4:13 related to Yuzu in any way? They look like they know each other (maybe they don't and the girl is just his fan).

Anyone following this? the finale is finally airing and I am sooo excited. This is one of my all time favorite anime.

Hello! I was searching for a thread about Yuzu's favourite anime, which is coming back today, but I couldn't find anything, so I made it myself, I hope that's okay. To be honest, I watched the anime years ago when it came out, I liked season 1, but season 2 seemed like one big mess to me, I couldn't follow the plot at all! I finished it nevertheless, and watched the OVA that came out as well (Pinto or something like that), but I heard that the new season, TG:re, is based on the manga of the same name and that the plot doesn't specifically follow the original TG manga? So rather than re-watching the two seasons again, I thought I might read th…
