February 8, 20224 yr I thuink he has the advantage of not being his first olys as a medal contender, so his mental state might be different than the rest. Spoiler But honestly... I am not even convinced that he wanted to be there at all so i am not too optimistic about the FS as a whole, let alone a comeback

February 8, 20224 yr Maybe I am super cynical but honestly I did not expect him to win another gold anyway. Not to take away from the accomplishments of any other skaters because they all work hard and skate well, but it really feels like the scoring over the last few years has been quite… iffy, shall we say…. I think Yuzu would have had to get everything absolutely perfect to have a chance because those who skate less than perfect still seem to end up with higher scores than him…. Honestly I have lost a lot of faith with figure skating in general and now only watch Yuzu… So in the end I just want him to go for that 4A and to heck with Olympic medals anyway. Because the scoring feels so biased these days that the medals seem less significant anyway. /rant lol

February 8, 20224 yr Okay now I'm panicking for Keegan. After the week he had, there is a strong possibility of disaster here...i sure hope 24 hours was enough for him to shake the travel kinks out
February 8, 20224 yr Yuzu still has FS. It's too early to talk about the overall result. He didn't look nervous or stiff to me at all. The Roncapu was beautiful except for the pop. (IMO he looked stiffer in JNats RonCapu) Sad for him that he could not present the program the way he intended. Hope he will be able to skate the way he wants in the FS.
