I think the unofficial rule for skating unclehood should be that having a kid makes you an uncle no matter what

Hoping Keegan does well.  I wonder why he flew in so late? That’s got to affect his concentration… must be tough. 😕

No, he doesn't seem to be here for the win. Maybe he really needed this to just focus on 4A. But well....

I do feel he focused too much on 4A over the past few seasons and not having a coach beside him before the SP is kind of not conventional. I am not expecting a 3rd OGM from him at this point I hope he just enjoys the Olympics. 

 

 

I also think he has to give up 4A for now and just skate clean for FS. That will raise his chance of a medal at the most.

Me too. It sounds like less of a jump mistake or being plagued by injury/illness and more he hit a patch of bad ice. It happens. Just straight up bad luck. 

 

On the upside it takes the pressure off and he can feel more free to focus on 4A which seems to be his main goal anyway.

He had no choice - couldn't fly until he tested negative for COVID
