EDIT: I' ve rewatched twice and I can see he didn't look nervous at all - a bit more cautious than at JNats is more accurate. I think I have said before on here that when I watch Yuzu live on TV (with my own anxiety sky-high!) I get a distorted view of how he has done. Apart from that bl**dy pop he actually skated really well. I love this beautiful programme and Yuzuru's interpretation of the music, and want so much to see him skate it with confidence and energy to the world, everyone deserves to see it at it's best. Yuzu please come to Worlds to show her off! (but only if you're comfortable about the Covid security at the venue - not sure how Omicron will be panning out in a few weeks time)
February 8, 20224 yr i feel so bad for Yuzu, how many times did this happen to him. i knew he would pop he was so nervous. tbh i dont even know if he can medal. his fs bv isnt high and 4a sighs

The forms are so not pretty and kinda break the flow for me. Otherwise I love his performance. Yeah, to me he is one of those skaters that muscles their way off the ice. It is serviceable and technically good but not as pretty as a skater that floats (like Yuzu). I still like Shoma’s skating though.

February 8, 20224 yr I'm literally tearing up, I'm going to avoid FS Twitter for a bit I think... I still love Yuzu and support him to the end. Go for the 4A! It seems it may have been a hole in the ice where he was going to jump and it took him out, but alas...
