It's already updated and Yuzu remains at number 1 :smiley-love017:

The ranking will change when they reset the score at the end of season. I think Yuzu's rank will down to 3 but it's not really important. He won Oly, it's all that matter

Well, I just watched Donovan's free. And boy, can he brighten up anyone's day! :10636614: He's adorable, I just love seeing him compete. Questionable musical choices aside...

maybe this event will be a blessing in disguise for Boyang. Maybe the Chinese fed will allow him to go to Brian full time now. ... unrealistic, but still ...

I feel like this is even worse... Maybe if Nathan had bombed, the 100 quad programs would've finally been seen as unhealthy and uneccesary. Now we get praise for an empty "program" that got outlandishly overscored and no sound for the few skaters that actually skated (almost) clean but "easier" programs. :1:

I don't remember who said it but i remember them saying something like: "The skater should concentrate on what they're good at, enhance that and should be awarded for that".

I agree with this statement , of course meaning that they are awarded/ judged fairly. Fine, Nathan can jump, let him jump and give him points for it. But Nathan has nothing much in the program except for jumps so why should he be praised for something he doesn't do?!!!

Because he took “ballet” and is classically trained...well guess what US. So was Tatsuki and he got a 90 in PCS! The utter injustice of this system...I miss Tatsuki :(

Real question tho, if Yuzu lands a 4A, can Nathan really be considered the quad king anymore?

Ah, yes, that ideal world where PCSs counts as much as jumps, big fed support (hype) doesn't matter and skaters are rewarded accordigly.....

Never for me! NO!

Will Brian be able to handle both Yuzu and Boyang though :13877886:

I imagine that would be stress and annoyance times 1million. Yuzu's drivenness vs. Boyangs unconcentrated behavior. Two complete opposites. Even think about handling that makes me feel sorry for Brian ..^^

Just watch Kazuki and Deniss. Watch Kazuki last so you can keep the utter joy with you in your heart as you go back out into this scary world where Yuzu is no longer World Champ.

I don't recommend to watch it all. Better choose some skaters like Kazuki, Misha K and Misha Ge, Shoma and watch separately on youtube.

I'll surely follow your advice, watch the good ones and pretend all the rest didn't happen :thanks:  I was looking forward for Deniss to have a clean skate and a good event to finish the season so I guess I'll force myself to be happy with that (and ignore the scores) and look forward to a smiley Stéphane

I'm pretty sure no one (sane enough) would deny that nate got those scores bc other top skaters bomb, tbh I feel like maybe most judges would even miss the kind of skating yuzu, javi, n patrick gives to the sport, but maybe im being too optimistic. The thing is they have reason to gave nate wr especially with this unfortunate situation but they... didnt. Close, but they didnt. There will be one less jumping pass in the future anyway. The only thing I hope that follows that rule was the zayak rule. Bc skaters would just ditch axel then
