  1. I've been away for awhile from the site but now that work is behind and my bag is all packed for the trip, I had to stop by to express my joy and excitement for my forecoming first live fs competition I'll be missing Thursday practice (hope those of you who go have fun) but will be there from Friday (although I still don't know if I'll be there for all the events ). Looking forward to be part of the PH presence in the arena
  2. We got tickets D4 R11 - looked on the website of the icehall (it has a virtual tour). The view will be great, don't worry!

oh thank you! I feel less lonely in the block now :tumblr_inline_n2pje2TPZt1qdlkyg:

I didn't think to go look at their website, next time I should do my research more properly :)

Do you have any idea if the seats are also obligatory during practice sessions ?

  3. Hello-- Also here to add myself on the list of first timer satellites going to Helsinki I got D4 R5 - have no idea how good or not so good it can be, short side not center but quite close to the rink? However, I didn't have much time to hesitate and was already happy to manage to get these. I've always been afraid being disappointed and ending to think that you get a better (closer) view on screen than actually going to the rink but I know I will so regret not trying to see him for real in competition so I've decided to overcome my hesitations. Just to be there and feel the atmosphere of the rink will be great and I'm sure there's a whole lot of emotions seeing him live that cannot be compared to watching from home.

    General Yuzuru Chat

This page is written by Hana, in charge of the website of "Ashita e tsunageyou" project of NHK. It seems that there will be a second video of "Hana wa saku - Pyeongchang ver." (the first was released on the end of March) that will be aired by the end of June and will feature Yuzu among the other Olympians+Paraolymipians. In the comic strip she apologize to have messed up the photo moment but reassures everyone that the video was taken in 4K, that the making process has been filmed and that we should look forward to the special interview. In the footer comments she says that Yuzu was so cool (kakkoii) and that also the composer said repeatedly "sugoi" (wow). Sorry I'm a bit lazy to translate everything and I actually haven't followed the site recently (and never been able to catch up) so I don't even know if the first Hana wa Saku with the medalists has been discussed or if we have the video somewhere? (again, I am too lazy now to do proper research )

It basically says that single-fold eyelids are an evolution of the double eyelids occured in order to survive the Ice age. Also the eyelashes that lean down are to protect the eyes from the cold air (they work like blinds). The conclusion is that Yuzu fits perfectly in this definition of evolved form of human being

It says that during break time the show title was projected with lights on the wall near the ceiling, but during the talk session in the 2ND part, the lights became of the form of the PC gold medal. The Mc/translator presented it as a celebration gift to Yuzu from the person in charge of the light effects

Ok, I saw the original video, the eyes seem better than I thought in the other one. And a bit of new scenes there

So, instead of going to sleep I've spent 1,5h catching up in this thread I wasn't thinking to post but the video linked in the tweet his eyes seem so red and puffed! It must be really true he cried out loud at plu's performance! I thought they were exaggerating but maybe it wasn't the case... Anyways, as it was fun as usual reading you guys here. I'll be missing the live show (and streaming party) but will catch up later.

I still had this page open, has this been answered meanwhile? I don't even know if it really was a question, but Yuzu trolling his senpai is worth sharing, so in case not: when Mura was going to try and do the SE axel, according to the article, Yuzu said that it could be a 5A if he wanted. (then it continues about Mura never having jumped a SE-A and Yuzu telling him now that he's gone pro he has to try out new stuff and add variations to his skills ) I saw a tweet where it seems it went like "you can choose how many rotations you want to do, 4A is ok, 5A is ok too" (btw, are there specific policies of the forum on posting ppl's tweets? not speaking about official accounts but like private users)

Oh well, I'm not an expert on reliability of the different newspapers in Jp.. but I thought sankei sports was quite decent? otherwise I found news on nhk (post-show interview) quoting him saying that he has started to jump Toes and Sals little by little. So for sure he's not jumping Lz, Lo, F. Doubts about the A. Pretty sure he's out there jumping T and S

As if we needed more evidence, this article says that he resumed training on ice from the end of March and he's been jumping Toes, Sals and Axels. He says that next season he wants to compete as much as he can (enter as many events as he can)

Yes there is. And in the last part he say that after PC he used a lot of words like satisfaction (fulfillness? does that exist?) and happiness, and he said that he didn't not what he will do afterwords. But now he is quite eagerly wanting to compete in events. (rough translation)

as I read it in japanese, I'd say it's more like "maybe it will be extremely rare for us to compete against each other in competitions". small details but it hints more that javi could continue competing. but of course it's a transcription of a translation from english or spanish so who knows how it was worded at the beginning. we'll wait to know
