Hey guys no point being mad at a comp Yuzu wasn’t even in.  Like we all know...Yuzu and Javi are like measuring sticks, without them there, PCS goes crazy...however if Yuzu comes back, no way any of them should be passing him.  There is always (should) a good 5-6 point difference from Yuzu and Nathan.  I wouldn’t be too worried about it...but those GOEs...

I'm enjoying reading commentary on the mens event on my old coah fb including a couple of judges. The nicest thing they have said of the top guys is that at least the last one was jumping.

Oh so all those videos of him dancing and rapping were at the expense of Worlds then... well I don't want to blame him. Preparing for Olys must have been exhausting as hell and I'm not an athelete and in no place to judge him, I guess

Wow what a splat fest. After the high of the a clean WC last year and from Olympics, this was absolutely painful to watch. With the exception of Nathan, none of the other top skaters would have even medaled. Shoma got so lucky everyone (except Nathan) had a major meltdown and didn't have judging favored PCS to prop them up.

 

Looking at the scores, it looks like all of Yuzu's records remains intact. Nathan's personal best FS score went up because in between all those quads he threw down, he miraculously picked up PCS scores so that now he's a 9+ skater. I understand judges that you had no one to hand out candies to because the entire top group melted down, but this is egregious.

 

Looking through the Protocols, Shoma got called underrotated for his 4F and 4T. As he should be. Judges really nailed him in Components and I'm glad because that was definitely not his best.

 

Kuzuki was a revelation. His 3 Lz wasn't called though and it looks completely wrong edge to me so who knows what the judges were watching.

 

How did Misha get unclear edge call for BOTH Lutz and Flip. How is that even possible?

 

Vincent attempting 6 quads and getting underrotation calls for 4 of them. FINALLY judges doing their job. I like him but his jumps weren't there today.

 

You're telling me that Boyang had worst PCS than Paul Fenz? Paul, the only exciting thing about him was skating to Game of Thrones sountrack, Fenz? What?!? That score is brutal.

 

This is the worst WC event I've ever witnessed. I feel so sorry for all the people who cringe their way through this live. I had to look away a few times because it was so painful.

nah, if javi, yuzu were here the GOEs for other guys would also decrease.

 

And I would bet there are nathan fans who are in shock about his PCS.
