There's no option to sign in on the app so I don't think you need to subscribe to access it. That being said, the quality is really crap for me and there's no option to select definition so if you live in a crappy country with crappy internet like I do, it might not be worth the trouble. 

 

It looks like they won't be covering all events and not all will be live.

 

Here's what the app has scheduled:

 

10th - Pairs (team) 

15th - Pairs 【live】

17th - Men's 【live】

20th - Ice Dance 【live】

I just installed it, too, and it worked. The idea is interesting, but the quality could definitely be better. I'll see what it's like from home, on wifi, though, since now I'm on mobile data.

Regarding Nathan's insecurity... I bet my butt it's Olys pressure. This is what happens when your layout isn't fixed a month before Olympics. Problem is, you can't count on your thinking abilities when you're there. You have to go on Auto mode or you're lost. Boots aren't really important as much as mental state.

...No wonder that when he has issues, it's usually in the 2nd half (you know, the make-up lost points portion). And when he has an issue, it tends to go for several more jumps. Hope it's just tactics (and he secretly has one decided), otherwise I'm honestly scared of him Zayaking.

I see it as tactics too...he wants to know what yuzu is doing so he can determine how much BV he needs to win.....and showing everyone he is so good and confident with the quads he can change everything at will... thereby actually showing connecting steps and choreo do not mean that much in his program.

It pained me how his choreographic sequence in the US Nationals FS had basically nothing of its original content outside of the spread eagle.  

Here's hoping Nathan's just trolling and settles for the 5-6 quads layout he was using by SkA/GPF, but who knows with him.
