No Yuzu in Team Event! I'm so sad!  I was hopping to see him arriving in PC sooner!

Tbh, I dont think he will be in Korea with Jun so early and leave Yuzu and Javi alone. Like we've seen before is almost essential for them to have Brian around in moments like this! Maybe he will arrive next week, close to the Team Event.

Tbh, what he felt about the watered down layout at ACI might not be the same as he's feeling right now. The situation, the pressure are all different. He did watered down his layout backk in 2014-15 season because he didn't have another choice. Its all about what's mean a challenge for his current condition. I would say a 4 quad layout (the H&L one) is still a very big challenge for him at this point.   

 

And finally we got the news. Personally I hoped he could do the team SP, but I understand why he skip it. He could have one more week training with no pressure/media chasing. And knowing Yuzuru, he might take team event too seriously. I'm sure he and his team thought all about the pros and cons to came up with this decision. There's very little data about doing team event is good or not. And right now Yuzuru's situation is different from Sochi. He doesn't need momentum from team event. . I think it could be good for Yuzuru to show up in Korea few days before the comp, just like other normal comps. 

 I dont want to speculate anything about his conditions. After years of following him, there's only one thing I can be sure about is Yuzuru will fight till the end, even in impossible conditions. All I can do right now is praying and hoping for the best.

Jun looks sooo proud to be there... little smirk on his face and everything, lol!! (it looks like he's walking a runway rather than arriving!) How amazing it must feel to him.... surprised he is there so early....

 

I also want to know if Brian is there! Yes, he's jun's coach, but we all know who is still at home training.....

I wonder if Brian going to go for Gabby and Jun team event or stay in Canada to keep training Yuzu and Javi. Isn’t Javi flag bearer again so he might come in before for the opening ceremony.   Man... being the coach of elite athletes.
