  1. Congratulation to Yuzu and his partner I wish them the best in their new life Yuzu who made millions happy deserves all the happiness in the world
  2. Happy 6th Birthday to Planet Hanyu I can't believe it has been 6 years since we established this home for ourselves. I have been here since the first week and still remember it as if it was yesterday. It was a lot of hard work from so many people and I am thankful to them for creating a place for an amazing community. Even though I have been too busy to participate in the past year, I have always been checking here for updates, enjoying the wonderful fanart, watching new videos and just checking on everyone. Hope this amazing community continues to spread joy in the fs fandom and that we keep growing with Yuzu. Love to all old and new fanyus
  3. Sorry Daniel, I have been trying for years but I really can't enjoy your skating
  4. No one compares to Yuzu so I try not to make that comparison at all to be fair to the other skaters. After all they have their own good qualities
  5. I still don't understand how Shoma lands most of his jumps but he does, so good for him. Overall that was a good performance, he has always been a good performer but really needs the right program
  6. Love Keegan and will really miss him This is a pretty good competition so far. Some of the best performers in the men's field are having a good day today, and I am happy about it.
  7. So Ilia...That was quite boring for all technical difficultly put in, but he is not bad. His elements are good over all, though he really misses that charisma that Kazuki demonstrated just before him and his SS needs work. I think he has the potential if he focuses on the right things now that he got the jumps. That quad god thing is just cringe and really needs to go
  8. I would be happy with a podium with those three in any order
  9. So, what do I need to sacrifice and to whom to manifest a clean free for Sota and Kazuki
  10. I think Shoma's programs before his coaching change were better. Since then his program have become emptier and "safer". I used to enjoy his skating even with his jump issues but I find him boring now.
  11. I don't know if I am the only one having this problem but since the last time the forum had technical issues about two weeks ago I have been getting the cloudflare error message constantly when browsing here. The forum overall is not always loading properly and I have been required to reload the page sometimes more than once to get it to display correctly. My biggest issue is that the cloudflare error is happening a lot with posts that have embedded content from Twitter and Instagram. These post display the text but the embedded part is an error message and I need to keep refreshing the page to get it to display. A lot of times it never works. I was hoping the issue would be resolved by itself but it has been too long and I am losing a lot of content that I can't view because of this. Can you help me please Here is an example of how the posts appear to me
  12. That was so exciting What made me the happiest is that he is healthy and in top shape. He is jumping 3Lz and 4Lo, which is always a good sign for his ankle. It is so good to see him happy and healthy and just enjoying himself. Also, how good his test in music is. I need to go find all those songs now
  13. I am so excited I can't sit still What do you guys think he will post on his channel? What kind of content will he share? I can't wait If he shares practice videos, I think I may die
  14. We knew it was coming one day and we were very fortunate that he stayed as long as he did.. I won't lie and say I am not heartbroken since I know I will miss his competitive programs and just following him when he faces each challenge during the season. Yuzu has been giving me strength and motivation for the past six years, and I will miss that. However, as long as this is his wish and what he wants to do, I will support him with all my heart. I will look forward to whatever he will be showing us next. My only wish is for him is to be healthy, happy and satisfied. Good Luck Yuzu in all you future endeavours
  15. Having discussions and criticising what is wrong with the sport is something good and we have been doing it for years. However, that is not all that has been happening here lately. We have people attacking other fans or being rude to others just because they like a skater that is considered over scored or problematic for some reason. We have people making personal comments about skaters' personalities and appearance. We also have people looking for everything negative they can find on social media about some skaters and bring it here for no reason other than spreading negativity. These things may be few and only some people engage in that behaviour now, but it is the exact kind of behaviour that will ruin this place like many other fan spaces before it. This used to be a much more welcoming place for all fans of the sport but now I feel I can't even say that I like FS whiteout being attacked. We are heading in a very concerning direction and I hope I am not the only one noticing this. Please take a moment and think about how we can make this a nice place for everyone. I really don't want to leave the only fandom I truly felt part of for the past few years.
  16. This guy may have targeted Yuzu with his comments but this is actually is a very common problem with FS especially from fans. There is always this idea that skaters with injuries should hide it and skate if they physically could, and not use it as an excuse for bad performance or mistakes. It is a terrible thing to teach the athletes especially since many of them are just children who don't know what is best for their health. Yuzu did the right thing by talking about it. He is the biggest name in the sport and he is basically telling the younger skaters that it is okay to talk about their injuries, and that they are not supposed to hide it. Of course some people won't like that because they see sports as entertainment and they don't like the idea that they are being entertained by someone who is suffering. So, they want to have everything unpleasant about sports hidden so that they can watch without thinking about it.
  17. At this point it's starting to feel like you guys just want reasons to be upset and make everyone miserable. Is there really a reason for all the negativity that goes on for pages and pages here while nice things are just skipped over? It is the same things repeated again and it only serves to bring us all down. I am really considering not coming here anymore to avoid this and I have been checking this thread and the planet daily since it was created. Please, let this remain our happy place Here have a happy Yuzu to cleanse the place and lets move on to more happier discussion please
  18. Sorry if this was posted before, I didn't see it The Olympics channel on YouTube posted Yuzu's SP without commentary This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  19. Guys, Let Yuzu have his fun and lets us enjoy his skating. There is no need to think of upsetting things right now. I don't think he would be making any big announcements at the Olympics that would overshadow the accomplishments of the Japanese team. So relax.
  20. wasn't defending their actions, it really wasn't nice or polite towards Yuzu who is their teammate before anything else As for Yuma, I think that he is a kid who is due to lack of experience and maturity bought into his own hype. He lives with his coach which means he doesn't get any other point of view or advice from different prospective other than those who are trying to mold him into a certain shape. I still have hope for him that he will grow up from the shadow of his father and find his own voice and personality as a skater. He is still young and I want to give him the benefit of the doubt like I did Nathan when he started.
