Yeah, he's likely to arrive separately since he's not training with the rest of the Japanese team in Japan.

i hope not...that's precious training time

I doubt he'll arrive on the 4th but it's not like that's all that early, depending on if he's taking part in the Team or not. If he is, I expect he has to be there on the 6th anyway. That is basically just two days (of practice and adjustment) to the TE SP.

Also, it looks like both Eurosport and NBC will have VR on demand so you can rewatch it! No need to fiddle around and potentially miss things during the live broadcast! (Should double check if this applies to FS once more info is out, just to be sure.)

 

Can anyone tell me if I need a subscription to either thingy or will a VPN will be enough?

 

ETA: NBC says you need to verify your cable subscription for live streaming so maybe replays will be accessible without one.

Here's the link to the Eurosport app. I was able to purchase it using a VPN and CC (paypal gave an error) through the Play website. Also, I had to use a backup gmail account as it said "not available in your country" when I tried using my primary.

 

There's no option to sign in on the app so I don't think you need to subscribe to access it. That being said, the quality is really crap for me and there's no option to select definition so if you live in a crappy country with crappy internet like I do, it might not be worth the trouble. 

 

It looks like they won't be covering all events and not all will be live.

 

Here's what the app has scheduled:

 

10th - Pairs (team) 

15th - Pairs 【live】

17th - Men's 【live】

20th - Ice Dance 【live】
