OT but well, Boyang did have 10 points of TES on Shoma, and Shoma had a PCS advantage by 6 points. What else did the commentator want, when their SPs basically had the same scoring (despite Shoma doing a 4T2T)? That's IJS and Boyang was technically better, whereas Shoma rightfully had better PCS. Shoma would have needed Worlds PCS in order to win over Boyang's TES, though, which I don't think would have been correct (Loco at Worlds was much better than 4CC Turandot). That or not have fallen on the 4F. :shrug:

    So... 5 days at MOST and then we'll HAVE to have news. (I... hope??!)

    I must say, the american PR is impressive...

    The CM is really cool, but I can't help but smile (and cry a bit) at all this attempt to make mens figure skating look as virile as possible (except when chosing the costume, thankfully :laughing:)

    It makes me miss his SP costume from last season. Oh how I miss the lacy bits. Amusing they didn't show him in the new outfits (would have wanted to see if those stripes really glowed in the dark). 

     

    They did a recent show (Anatomy of a figure skater) where they measured the fitness of Mae Berenice-Meite, and I really would love for them to do one on the male figure skaters. That might be eye-opening for a lot of people who think figure skating is a "soft" sport.

    This is why I can't stand watching figure skating on NBC. It's not the commentators, although I do wish whoever is encouraging them to constantly talk as the skaters are skating would stop.

     

    It's their nonstop cheesy promotional ads that drive me crazy. And as an American, I'm not impressed.

    Wonder if the reason they used the old SP costume is because Vera Wang's masterpieces took so long getting made they weren't ready for the ad filming. :laughing:
