There's no option to sign in on the app so I don't think you need to subscribe to access it. That being said, the quality is really crap for me and there's no option to select definition so if you live in a crappy country with crappy internet like I do, it might not be worth the trouble. 

 

It looks like they won't be covering all events and not all will be live.

 

Here's what the app has scheduled:

 

10th - Pairs (team) 

15th - Pairs 【live】

17th - Men's 【live】

20th - Ice Dance 【live】

 

I have Eurosport Player and extra streams are showing up as the Player schedule appears on their regular 7-day timeline. If you only use search function, you will only get events that are on their tv channels farther than 7 days ahead. Right now the schedule goes up to Sunday 11th, and it shows streams for team events on the 9th and 11th, live and full length.

 

For those where Eurosport is available, they will be having 3 extra channels for duration of the Olympics, Eurosprt 3, Eurosport 4, Eurosport 5, starting ftom Feb 7th. Additional fee (not terribly high) may be required to the satellite/cable provider.  I imagine live skating is going to there too.

Some are thought to be infected with norovirus. 5 athletes staying in the athlete's village are also thought to be infected.

Oh no. I hope that these Games don't become a case of survival of the fittest... or least sick... or, got sick first and recovered quickly enough to compete while others were still ill...

Well, here's the silver lining to the team event withdrawal!

You won't miss TJ when they do overhead shots that's for sure.
