I think it may refer to when Eteri said that Evgenia was rude because when she left her, she didn't come to Eteri with flowers and thanks for the years they spent together or something like that. But I might be mistaken.

Except that they expect everyone around their children (coaches, teachers, etc) to make it happen for their kid, too. So it's not just the kid that's under pressure - everyone around them is, also.

Funny but I think the first question is wrong. If I remember well, it is not Eteri Tutberidze who (even less initially) said Evgenia Medvedeva wanted Alina Zagitova to be let behind, it was known by reading on Evgenia Medvedeva's lips, when crying on Eteri Tutberidze's shoulders after he FS at Pyeong-Chang?

No, It was Eteri who said this, and reading Evgenia's lips confirmed that she did NOT say it.
