Re: Uno's costume. I remember reading somewhere that he cut part of the collar of the blue one at the back because it was bothering him. So, maybe that's why the change? Just, the colour:facepalm: Are they going for gold with blue accents, the reverse of the old one? It didn't work.

Thanks the heavens!

I bet it was Satomi Ito's revenge on the Bluerandot collar snip snip. She's laughing her way to the bank.

I just watched the top 3. Go Boyang!!! That was awesome! I'm so happy to see he's back. That 4Lz at the beginning was gorgeous :tumblr_inline_n18qr5lPWB1qid2nw: And the choreographic sequence was so much fun, so... Boyang.

I actually enjoyed Shoma's free skate more this time. GPF and Nationals were just... Glad the UR were called, though. Maybe this will push him to improve.

Jason's reaction to Shoma's skate was the most adorable thing ever. He's such a ray of sunshine :tumblr_inline_mm2wbaeqQM1qz4rgp: Glad to see the 3A came to visit, if only for a brief moment :13877886:

Also watched Donovan. He's adorable, I love his enthusiasm and how the crowd always loves him. His spins are getting so much better! And StSq3, it was 2 last year. I really wish he'd get a better coach so he could improve his technical elements...

I'm very, very happy for Boyang :bliss-smiley:Congratulations to him for winning his 4CC for the first time! Though I'm still not a big fan of this free skate, he did his 100% to make the best out of this program. The quads were amazing, all clean and very nicely done, and he has improved so much on PCS in this program, too, I also love how performed the choreographic sequence so well :smiley-love017:  Those who say that it would be a travesty if he medaled at the Olympics just simply fail to see how much he has improved, it's not the Boyang we've seen in 2015/16 or even last season, he's constantly improving and he's a much better skater this season that he was before.

While Shoma skated better than in the previous monts, I think his 4F should've been downgraded and I don't understand some of his GOE either. But at least the 4Lo was called.

Aaaand I'm just so happy too that Yuzu remains 1st in the world ranking, yay <3

How come I never knew that Boyang listed Yuzu (together with Yagudin and Plushenko) as the skaters he looks up to in his official ISU bio??? I am ashamed of myself.

ETA:

Also, look at that! in isu.org/figure-skating Boyang is now the 'Quad King' :peekapooh:

I figured the yellow was for here only ... they use the best ones at Olys...Shoma will look great.

Congrats to Boyang. After his form in the sp you knew he was in good shape. I will wait to watch until CBC shows this on tv today, but the podium fight is on! I wanna see my star wars program done well!!!

I'm dying because of all the winner's sofa fluff oh jeez <333333

If I didn't know who they were, I'd still be able to tell that at least one of them is Japanese. xP Though I'd likely think they both were and brothers, to boot. >_<

Great comeback for Jin! I think this puts him as a solid medal contender next month now, even the gold. (: So many vying for it. I hope most would be able to put out a good showing in their bid for it, despite outside factors making the chances of that a fairly low one, if one were to maintain a logical outlook. Still, one can always hope. ^6^

Also, I think Jin's 85 PCS  is fair if one were to judge based on what he put out there today, but less so if one were to judge based on what others have been getting for what *they* put out.

Guess I'm a bit late to  the  party  but  still I have  to say  :the men  FP  in 4CC was such a breath of  fresh air after  the  disaster  called  Europeans. And  the  podium is  a candy  to my tired  eyes.

I'm officially a fan of  Boyang now. I had not  been convinced by  him for more  than   two years but  he  won me over  today. His  improvement in all areas   is  so evident  , he  is  just  brilliant.  And    he has  such a  bubbly lively personality . Such  a  good  kid!

Shoma   was  very good  today . Yeah  I  know, UR, pre- rotations  and  what- not, but  overall the  program  really shined today. I enjoyed  it  thoroughly and  I don't  care  about  that  UR-s. He was  beautiful today  (  But  burn that  costume  please  and  bring  back   the  blue-gold  one)

And  Jason - what  a surprise! (Sad for  Keiji though...)
