Which is one with the most stingy tech panel of the entire season so far.

I just wanted to scream : BOYANG MAN!!!! 

 

He improved so much on performance and was so enjoyable to watch at this event...Adding that on top of his technics..He totally deserves the Gold here!!

Boyang finally got some reasonable looking GOE. I'm glad about that.

 

Shoma's SS and TR look lower than they usually are.

 

On the whole, Mai and Dabin's edge calls and the PCS difference between the ladies' 1-2-3 are the only things that really made me simmer. I think 4CC tech panel should get a +2 GOE.

Oh yeah and shoma finally got his combo jumps together haha... but that yellow disaster of a costume probably lowered his GOE and PCS by like ten points lol... Burn that thing and bring back the blue gold turandot please.

I can’t believe Yuzu still #1 in world standing cus of Boyang winning gold. The same day we see him the first time in 2018.

lol at some of the comments i came across on twitter talking about they hope Boyang leaves these type of skates at 4CC so he doesn't sneak on to the podium. I hope he medals next month.

Well strict panel only work more for skater like Boyang and Yuzuru. They hardly ever UR. If they stay on their feet, there's no question about rotation. 

 

Look at protocol, Shoma's 4lo and 4F got <, his GOE is ok IMO, the jumps in 2nd half look better than the last couple comps. With a more generous panel Shoma could win but I;m glad they didn't do it.  Boyang got 2.71+ for his 4lz. The pcs gap should only 3-4 pts but overall the placement is correct so I'm fine

 

Boyang's fantastic comeback give me more hope about Yuzuru
