I always say when the ladies do too well, the men do badly... this rule applies almost every time.

btw this actually is good for Javi, no GPF good for him to save energy.

I don't think this is good for Javi. Something seems off to me about some of his jumps. I noticed it last year too.

And maybe this would push him to maybe... not retire yet?

And the next time we'll see him will be Europeans I suppose? (I'm not sure when Spanish Nationals happen, but we don't get any videos of that anyway.)

Oh, destiny just changed victims and place.

I step out of the house for a few hours after Ladies FS and check the results and... :tumblr_inline_ncmifiE3IT1rpglid:

It's the Olympics season and that is always, always insanity.

It doesn't just play on your nerves during the Games themselves, it's hell prior to it too. Then there's the whole issue with judging, too. I think the most important thing in the end will be the head. This is a mental game.

Yuzuru lives for challenges. He wants to fight and overcome obstacles. He'll go down that road, even with this type of judging. But others might not.

I went back to bed and just woke up again... gosh, I am very glad I didnt waste my time on this.....

OMG I just had a dinner and comeback to see this result !!!! Javi in 6th ????????

I agree I think ever since he finished off the podium at World's last season I feel like his confidence has been dashed like he's second-guessing himself.

Need to print it and put on my desk. To reread every day and get some calm from it.

Looks like brunch with the in laws was the better option after all:hopelessness:

See, men's result makes me sad, because they did not perform well. Ladies result makes me furious because they did but the judges fudge.

Okay I am now not predicting anything for NHK. Only Shoma escaped my predictions. I've jinxed all the nr 1s I've picked in men.

Well if Javi is motivated enough, which I agree he doesn’t look very much into it.
