Exactly. And in the FS, he's debuting the 4Lz, which in itself is a risk right out of the gate.

 

I mean I don't know, but I get the feeling some here are way, way underestimating other skaters here. Not to mention that he has, rightly or wrongly, a rep for inconsistency. This is one of the things Chopin is supposed to fix. And no, he cannot work his way up. The point was not to have to do this. The point was to start relatively strong and inch to the top. Ah well.

Also, let's take a moment to appreciate the combo fall right on the music. 

You know, despite his game face in the warm up, he looked way too intense. And then the way he pushed into his first few steps he was already behind his music and seemed slower. Those were my thoughts before his 4loop issue...so the problems do not surprise me...... and his face during the program was totally off. ACI, he was on from the first note and when you have the program memorized, you sometimes can tell when a skater is off. 

 

In order to win here he has to fight hard, but he cannot do this in his sp again.... 

At least baby looks happy at the end...It is a sad story to Oda who practiced how to act for WR

Also, he can't afford to have another mental block for the SP, now with Chopin.

If they continue with this,  I'll be fine with them not changing the scoring system. But -2.06 GOE for Yuzu's 4Lo was too much imo...I don't think other skaters would be penalized as hard for a similar landing. 

 

And I miss 4T-3T(rippon)...ACI Chopin was magical. Let's hope tomorrow will be awesome!

I felt like he wasn't ready when the music started...

This intense thing happens too many times since last season...When will he fix this...When...
