Not underestimating the other skaters at all. Nathan landed everything, and if the judges weren't strict, which they were with Yuzu, too, the gap would be much bigger. Shoma could beat that score very easily with this judging, too. But I still think landing the lutz and doing the FS clean is the real goal for his team there. I dunno, I've got used to thinking of new Seimei as actually new because 4Lz, and all the wobbly skates he had while adding 4Lo. Now if he can land it and go clean, and Nathan still beats him - then he's in trouble.

Especially Nathan and US Fed. That was a really good short for him. Very very smart choice. If he keeps skating like that that, the publicity/politicking will increase, and with his TES it will be very hard to win with any mistakes.

We r not underestimate their scores... 

hmm the negative goe was fair considering both an underrotation and a messy landing. the scoring here wasnt disastrous imo.

Personally I don't think Chopin will become a mental block. He has too glorious a history with it. But today it was not at all the showcase it was intended to be.

I hope part of the good of Chopin will be to help him avoid developing a mental block. fingers crossed.
