Saw a tweet comparing a picture of KO fallen on the ice w/ the flag with one of smiling Yuzu sitting on the ice..... now I'm sadder/madder

Have to admit, seeing her with her legs apart on the ice laughing reminded me of Zu and I had to awww

I had an excellent view of Shin Amano and he seemed to be getting things through quite easily - the guy besked him kept nodding. They disagreed about something for Bradie or Mirai (I don’t remember for sure, but I think Bradie) where he did not get his way. They were still counting rotation’s for a spin (on Shin’s behest) when Sotsnikova’s scores were asked for.

I love Shin Amano. If he's lurking here or if any of you has his twitter name, PM, I'll write to him how much I love him. Fair judging. Deserved podium. minimal PCS inflation. Best judged ladies competition of the season.

I'm emo about waka's redemption skate n her getting silver n japanese ladies getying 3 spots back n the 2-3 finish holy sh*t:tumblr_inline_n18qr5lPWB1qid2nw:

But what the freaking hell happened :13877886:

It's totally unexpected. I'm so devastated for Alina. She's just 15 and she's Olympic Champion. She will have to face pubertal changes, the weight of Olympics Gold and maybe injuries. As Adelina said in her interview, she hadn't had any injuries until she became Olympic Champion. For some unexplained reasons, many Olympic Champs have to deal with serious injuries following their victory because of which they had to retire even if it isn't what they want to do. This failure will be a shock for her. I hope she's strong enough to overcome it and get stronger. I don't want to see Yulia 2.0 :slinkaway: I know she had to suffer severe injury before and manged to get through these hard times.

Spoiler

I still remember her saying Nathen should get 10s in his ss. She is a mess.

I thought I was asking for too much when I wanted Wakabond and Satton on the same podium.  But I guess I wasn't!

:LOL::LOL::LOL:

Welcome back to the 3s club, Japan!!  Sometimes I feel so unpatriotic but I am just not disappointed at all about USA ladies losing a spot. It wasn't being put to good use anyway.  I would have liked to have seen Caro win it but for me it was all or nothing for her.  I'm glad she won the short and gets that medal.  Still not a fan of Osmond's free, but congrats to her.   For Zag. I have my issues with her but one thing that stuck with me was a commentator mentioning that with her layout, it's very risky because if you miss one jump it's like a house of cards crashing down and you'll miss the rest because it's so stacked and you don't have a lot of recovery time like skaters that space their jumps out better.  So it was interesting to see that possible theory play out to some degree.

yep,she is,she had several side-eye worthy opinions on various subjects in the past.

[Admin edit: please don't bash other skaters.]

I'm not disappointed about the US losing a spot either. [Admin edit: Please don't bash skaters or anyone for that matter.]
