They might’ve while I was watching Wakaba skate towards the K&C, I was a bit distracted.  For most of the ladies I kept glancing to see when Shin Amano was taking notes, but with Wakaba I couldn’t tear my eyes away. 

also bowing to my queen shae-lynn bourne for choreographing this masterpiece of a program.the world doesn't deserve it but desperately needed to see it .same for waka's superb performance of it.

 

 

Guuuys, I was there with excellet view of Wakaba's skate... *waits for everybody who wasn't there to feel jealous* And it was SO amazing! That program is awesome and she just knocked it out of the park! I was torn between being completely happy fir her and secretly wishing everybody else would melt down so that she could get a medal. Wishing, but not really expecting it. (Well, actually I didn't wish for Katelyn to melt down because I love her FS too this season) AND THEN! Holy shit!

 

I was happy to see a great Swan Lake I love me some good Swan Lake) and then I waited fir Maria to convince me. She didn't. Then Gabby did her thing - and tbh I wasn't particularly surprised either. But then Satoko fell and it was like, what? What's happpening? And then Zagi's first fall evoked a gasp from all around, then she fell again and again and everybody started clapping for Zagi to encourage her. When she finished, I thought the Italian fans had done some voodoo and stuck Alina and Satoko's dolls full of pins to eliminate Caro's greatest rivals. But that theory went down the drain when Caro popped her her first jump. I heard shouting and clapping from the audience, so I looked at my neighbour and asked if Caro had just jumped a double, and she looked kinda freaked. We were officially in the twilight zone.

 

So, to make long story short, two of my favorite programs got gold and silver, so I'm actually happy despite the diseasters!
