Not being sent to Olys might have just been a blessing in disguise for Wakaba. Lbr her chances to medal at Olys would have been nil, she was sent to Worlds instead and she wasn't as exhausted as the other girls who were sent to Olys. She got a silver medal at Worlds instead!!! Pretty good outcome if you ask me

I'm so happy with Wakaba's silver medal and Satton's bronze.

Devastated for Alina, though. She's so young.

TAT is really worried by Alina's interviews with that "There is no puberty, you just need to eat less" philosophy. Me too.

@Mastyaeva posted several pages ago that TAT said Zagitova grew 3cm since Olympics. I'd say the puberty is already hitting her. And it is alarming that she is being in denial about it.

She's already quite curvy... so maybe it's the height and centre of gravity changes that are hitting her now... well, now she has half a year to deal with it before any competitions of note.

Sometimes ladies take a while to adjust, too. Alina has good technique -- theoretically, it could be tough but definitely doable.
