Alena, please, don't disappear into the void - I'm forever going to enjoy your skating... as long as you're healthy!

Gorgeous!  I was shocked that she made a mistake on the 3Lz  but that's silver right there!

I told you Kostornaia needs to work on her 3Lz. The only -GOE element.

 

See, in real life, Kostornaia is smaller than Trusova.

But their presence and command on the ice, exactly the opposite.

That was really nice to watch. Thank you, Kostornaia, for adeptly distinguishing yourself despite the familiar formulae.

Kostornaia is great, her skating's beautiful, I just wish the music was more interesting to be completely happy, because overall, there wasn't much memorable about this program...

Alena skates so beautifully.  

I think that's a silver for her... as it would have been even with a clean skate... you just cannot beat 2 quads... 

 

to see her and Alexandra side by side, you'd never guess she is the smaller girl... both will grow so much probably.. i want them both to survive that time and come out successfully on the other side, lol. I think I also like her because of that interview she gave earlier this season... it was a great read.

Alena is just gorgeous to watch! She's so mature for her age. I think she would have deserved a bit more PCS for this skate.

Alena is so beautiful   her skating is so beautiful.. Her flow with the music. Argh I won't get tired watching her. 

Poor Rika. Her competition nerves are usually not that bad. Hopefully this is just a little bump. I hope she bounces back.

Yes, this was a great competition. It was just as good, or better, than watching the senior ladies. I really enjoyed it. Well done to them all. They should be proud of what they've achieved.

Miki Ando landed plenty of 4S in practice as a senior. She might not have done it in competition, but she didn't just lose it because of puberty. You don't have a crystal ball.
