Interesting, isn't it? 

Wish Jin could have stayed on top... but I like the sudden comparison between the two. Clean Shoma is as worth as Clean Boyang. (and, small detail, both are 12 points less clean Yuzu) 

It's going to be close, I hope Boyang can skate well in the free skate and grab that gold! Go Spidey

I quibble over Shoma's spin GOE. So many guys in the earlier groups with traveling spins got negative GOE. It's not fair. They should get better scores, too, then.

It would be great if someone has worked a miracle on the SW FS in the intervening months- less than 0.5 off Shomas mark.

Yes, I wasn't paying that much attention but I need to see how Shoma got StSq2 was it? But the PCs scores are probably closer to what I personally would give them-that is actually the thing that shocked me.

...I don't know but I'm not so ok with Shoma having better PCS than Boyang today...

Not the only one, my friend. But the 'reputation' factor is still at play here.

I mean SS sure but there's more categories to PCs than that and interpretation and performance definitely go to Boyang today in my book

Overall I do think Shoma has the better SS, and usually he does have better PE, IN among the SQuad boys. But Boyang did perform his program better than previous rounds,  and while slower in the start, it did actually fit with the music (that I have to consider in retrospect).
