Congratulations to all the medalists! Well deserved medals! :clapping-smiley:

Guys, I really liked this pair event!

I jumped with them as soon as I saw their reaction (just before the score came up on the screen) and cried! These two were my saving grace in these Olympics along with Yuzu smiling after competition and just enjoying himself!

also, while I don't have anything against T/M themselves, it's nice that Eteri got denied another gold medal...

and now we know who will be closing out the gala! if it couldn't be Yuzu, Sui/Han would be my next choice

That was emotionally packed.  Thrown 4 twist.  Enormous!!!!!!!   They have so much more charisma than T/M.  Gold for me!!!!

I've found every single russian pair here incredibly boring, they're giving nothing performance wise. Beautiful elements, but none are good performers.

I usually enjoy b/k because they have some power but this season even they've been a bit off

I agree. I also found hem to be quite bland. It was like they were too focused on doing the elements one after another, especially M/G. There were no real emotions. There was no heart.

but they're up against Russians

It didn't matter. Like I said, once M/G got lower marks despite a solid skate, you knew what the judges wanted to do. And the host country needed it. I've watched Olympics for almost 4 decades... you can predict how the judges are judging.  S/h just needed a solid skate and they'd be rewarded, and they skated well and deserved it..

That being said, I think the podium was correctly judged today. A reallywell skated event too.

Shen/Zhao won after multiple tries at the Olymics, and sui/Han finally won too. Perseverance pays off!!

I mean, he's very good looking

anyway finally some justice

2nd crush! :rofl3:

I really hoped that P/J could get a medal here, but I'm so happy for Sui/Han.

They were the first pairs skaters I fell for, they've been my favorites since 2017, and they deserve this so much. They are like Yuzuru in that they unite techinque with artistry so fully, you can't tell one from the other. There is no other pair that compares.

Congrats sui/han💕💕💕💕 finally 2nd best thing that happened in this cursed event after yuzu's princess lift🤭
