February 19, 20224 yr God, I just realized this was the last competition of the olympics. I feel like I've aged ten years these last two weeks.

February 19, 20224 yr Congrats S/H on joining elite Super Slam team! 👏 I wasn't watching, because I'm a coward chicken, but also because I have to hold my old window because of wind in Europe. Wish me luck.💀✌

I hope that's everything will be fine. Congrats to all the couples: it was a very exciting final, plenty of emotional moments!

February 19, 20224 yr I was curious to see where the points to go over T/M came from since at end of the day 3S<< is still a pretty significant error points-wise and T/M actually got higher PCS. The quad twist is an obvious one, but it's not enough to make up for the error because the difference between how much S/H got and how much T/M got on their triple twist is only 1.42. Almost as big of a contributor is the forward outside death spiral, which earned them 1.33 more points than T/M got on their forward inside death spiral (0.9 from BV, rest from GOE). Then there's a bunch of small GOE differences that add up. So they basically won because of two harder elements + execution difference. 2 minutes ago, caterpillar said: Wait, so Sui/Han won pcs overall but T/M beat them in specifically performance and interpretation??? no actually T/M won PCS overall

February 19, 20224 yr Now I hope Wenjing and Cong can finally rest and go home to meet their families. They were separated from them for such a long time to achieve this goal. May they have a happy time with beloved ones.

February 19, 20224 yr The only good thing comes out of this Olympic. SO HAPPPYYYYY S/H DID THIS! They deserve it soooo much! It's just fantastic all the GOATs in 4 disciplines got their deserving SUPER SLAM. If you think about it, it's just increasingly difficult to win EVERY title now. For pair discipline like ice dance and pairs, it's harder now to stay together for 10yrs+ to get all titles together, and it's just more and more common for partners to split. Men? Forget it, not this quad, and in the future, prob you need several consistent quintuples under your belt from jr to sr to win all, apparently not in near future. Ladies??? Well provided Eteri's machine is still running, no girl can pass ONE Olympic cycle, winning all is just impossible with existence of your teammates=)).
