Jumbled up my predictions but I don't care- hope it's an omen for Boyang tomorrow - glad for Kaori and Mai - hope Satoko doesn't let it put her off.

Sooo happy with the tech panel! finally called those jumps! Great job, Kaori! 

On the other hand, Satoko's PCS could have been higher, sure, she wasn't as fast as Kaori, but Satoko has a lot more mature posture, lines, interpretation than Kaori.

 

Still, so glad, for Kaori!

That was unexpected .. Satoko's fall really surprised me, I don't think I have ever seen her fall before and isn't her PC a bit low?

 

Congratulations to all three of the Japanese ladies and especially Kaori, they were truly the best 

 

Though I will be forever salty because I am sure that Mai deserved higher scores  

The 2 Kobe girls will be loads of cute on the podium, I am sure. Wonderful training partners. 

I'm so happy for Kaori, yay! Congratulations for winning the competition!   She is a fierce competitor who handles the pressure really well.

I'm also happy for Mai, she did two great programs here. She couldn't defend her title this time, but I think she can be satisfied with this programs and the silver medal 

 

I thought they would give Satoko the silver medal, but the 3S was costly and finally they called two of her jumps! I think the tech panel did a good job at this competition. 

Wow I predicted Kaori to win but didn’t really think it was going to happen. 

Great ladies' event, especially the final group. Congrats Kaori for winning the title. Her jumps are love  

Beautiful performance from Mai, there's something so touching in her skating. Glad that she can put 2 clean skate here

Satoko is so lovely, given her trouble with left foot, she did well. Better here than Olys. I would give her 71-72 pcs. Really, what's happen with her pcs at this comp ??? She got more at SA and GPF. I think her jump looked better at this comp (not really today), especially the 3lo.  

PCS aside, I think the tech panel did a great job. Satoko's TES went down by 5 pts so I think they called UR on 3T and 2nd 3lz ( the 3S was so close). This podium is actually 4cc champions. And this just make me sad and bitter again why we couldn't see Mai or Wakaba at Olys  

 

Apart from ACI, is this the only other time Mai is on the podium? 

Man, she got robbed the whole season.

I await your comeback next year, Mai-chan!!
