This is also what I fear will happen.

I am bookmarking this to look back on for after PC.

I love all the girls () but when Satoko started her free - her lines and performance were simply on a whole different level, which was very obvious, how does she do that, what a gorgeous skater

Oh yeah when japanese ladies ever get pcs they deserve ? I think even with the fall, the pcs gap between Satoko and Mai/Kaori should be higher, around 4 pts. I'm so worried about Satoko and Kaori at Olys when they got this kind of pcs at 4CC without Euro judges . Caro's 75 pcs at Euro still give me a headache

You forgot the NA judges...though if there is a Chinese judge, maaaybe someone will favor an asian lady? Maybe the same may happen with a Korean judge?

Actually, I did suspect some purposeful deflation going on after the ladies short, which while the norm for Mai and Kaori, is really odd when applied to Satton....>_> It's almost like they have to do something to her before she goes head to head with Osmond, Zagi, Med and Kostner to make later lower PCS scores look normal (relative to SA and GPF of course).

 

Knock on wood my suspicions are wrong.

Mental weakness happens, Satoko. One fall is not the end of the world at 4CC. It's the best place for it to happen!

 

Sounds like training has been going poorly or she would nto have felt the lack of confidence.... well, hope she can put herself together because the pressure only gets worse from here on out....

Just caught the victory ceremony on YouTube- adorable isn't a word I use much but it's the only one for the three of them draped in one flag, skating under the three Japanese flags in the arena.  Satoko hid her diasappointment beautifully.

Someone please cancel this season already!

Nooooo don't cry . Its totally ok to make mistake. Even with a fall, Satoko still performed well. I hope she get enough rest, and the foot inflammation is not serious. There's not much time until Olys

That's....a full sweep of TCC's most prominent singles skaters who've been afflicted with something this season right? ))): I thought at least elizabet had escaped 

Just caught up with the three Japanese girl's performance,they were all great but I thought Mai's skate stole the show tonight, her performance was incredibly touching and leaves such an impact on another level I think she acually deserves much higher PCS than Kaori AND also her consecutive gold here at 4CC ...

 

But a las, like someone else had said, the judges probably hesitated to give her much higher PCS than olympic team member Kaori..It's politicking again... which makes me sad...

 

I mean, I think Kaori was great too, but I think the podium should have been G:Mai S: Kaori B: Satoko ...#justiceformai

 

P.s. the Japanese ladies really deserve to have three spots, what a loss for the Olympics to not have them fully represented...

I was going to say Gabby had a late start due to her surgery but has been otherwise injury free, but then remembered she had pneumonia at Nationals.
