Lunna
It's said in the press that starting Monday 25 May a training base will open in Novogorsk (near Moscow) for 60 figure skaters from the team, plus some other summer sports. From 1 June some training bases will open in other towns (Moscow might open last).

I really really hope, with all these very young athletes who seem to have trained quads on hard floor, that they will be coached very precisely to go back on ice, in order to avoid injuries. It was in all the sports news yesterday at least. I don't think it's just summer camp, if I remember right there're camps for figure skaters even before big comps in winter, so it must be all-year round. It is official. The article also says it will include senior and junior skaters too. https://rsport.ria.ru/20200523/1571884469.html In other news there is a long and interesting interview with Rukavitsin, he talks about many topics including coaching Aliev and Ignatov, and about the changes in the rules. He doesn't agree with such big changes mid-Olympic cycle and about the new BV of Lutz and Loop (this is not surprising). https://fsrussia.ru/intervyu/5015-evgenij-rukavitsyn-moi-sportsmeny-nauchili-menya-doveryat-im-na-kazhdom-shagu-i-pod-kazhdogo-solomy-ne-podstelit.html

Long and interesting, indeed. I didn't know the horse riding origin of the Lutz. And there is a little sting towards a "war of the coaches"... In theory he might be right, but if I remember right some time ago he said that 4Lo is the hardest, but now Dima has "4Lz" so
SitTwizzle
A long interview with Anna Shcherbakova's parents, with many original ideas but also things I was surprised not to see... https://www.sport-express.ru/figure-skating/reviews/roditeli-anny-scherbakovoy-ob-obratnoy-storone-populyarnosti-figurnogo-kataniya-intervyu-1675705/ I think Yuzuru Hanyu's scholarly achievements should be more publicised.
