The coach said that Mai lost weight not because of anorexia, but because her body could not absorb nutrients properly. (I am not sure whether it was because of her disease or the side effect of the treatments for it) Now she is taking a different medicine and trying to get better. Salior Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 Shun Sato's 4Lz was given positive GOE I really hope he wins the GPF. That'll tell the JSF to stop shooting him down.
Neenah Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 Anyone know if there is a cheer project for Mai? I really want to send her a message or a gift to help lift her spirit while fighting but I can't do it by myself. So,if you know someone who is doing something or if anyone here wants to help do something for her please let me know. she deserves all the the support we can give her and I think it will make her happy to know she has international fans who are praying for her health and happiness.

Sombreuil Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 For those of us who can’t read Japanese Utana and Shingo https://twitter.com/figureskatingm1/status/1191207509559656448?s=20
madraykin Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 The English results page for Western Sectionals is up - https://www.jsfresults.com/non_responsive_toppage.htm?figure_top.htm%2CNational/2019-2020/fs_e/west/index.htm As much as I love Utana and Shingo I actually find it kind of depressing that they got the best score out of all all 5 dance teams competing at sectionals.

It's good to know they are still competing in figure skating Shingo was in the 5th, and Kosho was in 6th in Eastern Japan - Junior Category. https://www.jsfresults.com/non_responsive_toppage.htm?figure_top.htm%2CNational/2019-2020/fs_j/east/index.htm
