I don't want to say it and maybe here isn't the right place for discussion (happy to move it if so) but honestly...how much of this may be because Wakaba doesn't look like the ~typical~ skater. If my conservative Asian parents can remark on it & I have to fight to get their attention when she skates....... I don't doubt some of this BS filters in at least subconsciously in certain judges' minds, esp if they're around my parents' age. Which is a bullshit factor but I'm not gonna pretend it isn't playing on my mind when I see the PCS differences sometimes. There's a certain 'halo' effect around the perceived ~elegance~ of slender limbs >______>

Waka is on the podium with a gpf chance, Mai is not... I'm not worried about waka... she can improve  her scores with every clean skate.... I need Mai at Olys and I fear that JSF would love to send Satoko if she's healthy.... so I fear for Mai...

My thesis is going to be about intracranial aneurysm (computational science angle of it). I wonder if I can submit myself as an object of study for my own thesis.

If the JSF was half as good as their skaters, their skaters would be getting a lot fairer deals than this.
