Literally in tears.  Yuma that was wonderful.  Oh my Lord what a magnificent skate.   FANTASTIC!!!!!

That's the first time I've seen the entirety of one of Yuma's programs and I am BLOWN AWAY.

Wow Yuma KILLED IT!!

He is definitely a medal contender for the individual event!

Wow Yuma was great! He's definitely a threat for the podium (I've always thought he was a dark horse). I just don't like the music, he doesn't connect to it and it's pretty dull

Brilliant for Yuma!! And some young ones skate like there's no pressure at all!! Japan looking good.

well. don't feel like he was very connected to the music today, but those jumps were good

That's what I thought too. He's not usually my idea of the best performer anyway, but today he looked more focused on the jumps than anything else. But it's the team event, so he was probably under pressure now that Japan actually has a chance to medal. Happy for him, though, that's a hell of an Olympic debut.

it's not like the judges will notice

well, vincent's quads are...questionable at best but I prefer his skating to nathan's. he's more consistently connected to the music and I find his basic skating a bit more pleasant
