Did the commies just say Nathan Zhou? #hearingproblem

I've muted the stream at one point. But wouldn't be surprised. My guy has no idea what he's talking about

Wow Yuma!! Well deserved PB. What a skate.

I was reminded, after not seeing him for so long, why Vincent’s skate never appealed to me. It was glaringly obvious after Yuma  how much he was lacking in flow and deep edges. But good for him for staying on his feet.

saw a bit of Mark’s skate at the end, I guess well done? But not my cup of tea.

He…is very enthusiastic. Glad I don’t understand German.

NBC Peacock stream has no commentary. Yay!

But it shows commercials during the replays, as if we're not interested in getting a good look at what the skaters did. Of course not, then we'll complain about the score. Lol.

Going to sleep happy in the knowledge that Yuma skated his little socks off and got Team Japan big points.  :loveshower:

I mean, Yuma is well above average on the skating skills front. Vincent's just kind of average--I don't actually find him distractingly bad, it's good enough to support the interpretation of music. It certainly feels less erratic and choppy than Nathan's skating

good showing for team japan today!

it's not like the judges will notice

well, vincent's quads are...questionable at best but I prefer his skating to nathan's. he's more consistently connected to the music and I find his basic skating a bit more pleasant

I feel the exact same way about vincent vs nathan

Obviously i can see all the jump issues that vincent has, but he still comes across better than nathan. Watching nathan skate is to me like chewing cardboard, extremely stiff and bland

I forgot this was on tonight! Did I miss the whole thing?

Oh no!! Did he? I guess it's better that he gets it out of his system now before the individual events start, but eek!

Madeline was great, 3rd, and got us into the final, but Roman had a really rough go. I hope he can get it together for the individual. He was so unsettled... it was a bad bomb.
