German commentary hit an all-time low at this event.

1. Let's not talk about doping now, but enjoy these fantastic Russian skaters

2. Kaori is good, but doesn't come near the Russians and her score is a bit too high compared to Trusova

3. Praising Valieva for her 3A attempt and "there other Axel attempts today as well" (no mentioning of Waka's 3A)

I'm so done.

I was suffering

everyone talking about her being robbed, presumably

Can this entire thing blow up and eventually get a full-scale investigation started? I know it likely won't, but one can dream.

Hasn’t WADA said they’re going to investigate Kamila’s “entourage?” A girl can dream…

Same.. if I hear him say WUNDERKIND one more time… :smiley-angry026:

I watched it with Max's commentary so I was just fine, thank God. I couldn't stand the Romanian commentator with the same shit like "Valieva the best in the world, Russian girls the best in the world blah blah blah" so I switched to Italian. wtf

I'm starting to fear that figure skating is just a lost cause at this point. How do you clear out corruption when EVERY SINGLE JUDGE is corrupt? Where do you even start?

you'd think that a doping scandal would make them stop saying this! don't they have any shame?

I really don't understand why they can all be so tone deaf and brainwashed. :noshake:

Having the choice of a non-commentary stream was so worth the couple of Euros I had to pay for the Eurosport subscription. I checked in on the commentary once in a while just to hear if it's gotten any better since the last couple of events, but was disappointed to hear that even a doping scandal didn't change anything.

And it's getting worse from competition to competition.

Even Kaori and Waka voiced their dissatisfaction.

Neither do I, Kaori.

Um, they took it down?  (Can't find the tweet anymore).

Though, in the last 3 years, almost every protocol makes my blood boil. I've resigned to not watching live (to avoid that TES box), and then just rewatch girls that I like. GO KAORI!!! SO PROUD OF YOU!
