It's absolutely disgusting. I checked in on some commentary on both British and German Eurosport. It's still the usual propaganda about how Kamila is the best figure skater in history across all disciplines. (Seriously? WTF???)

Kaori was amazing. And I can’t even enjoy it because the scoring is so obviously wrong and also they’ve allowed someone with a positive doping test to compete.

lol they really did decide that they had to give her a high score so that they wouldn't get criticized to hell and back

You know, at least one (non-Russian) girl was saved. I was prepared for noone at all.

I 100% do not believe they let the lutz go because they didn't see it, given how harshly they were calling it everything else. They let it go so they wouldn't have a Russian 1-2-3 when that entire camp is under suspicion for doping.

Wakaba saying it how it is

They used to say that Kaori had raw power going for her - well it isn’t ‘raw’ anymore- it’s controlled and focussed - she moves so powerfully and fast across the ice she’s a joy to behold, infinitely preferable to the finicky fussy movements of Scherbackhova and Valieva.

We're gonna have Olympic champion* caught on doping before the competition. I feel sick with figure skating.

I feel so awful for all the non-Russian women. I want to believe Anna and Sasha are also clean but I highly doubt it, and no doubt they know what is going on in their camp.

Wakaba deserved better. Kaori deserves first. Sasha should not be near 70 with a fall on a 3A or with her skating skills.

Figure skating is dead. All these clean athletes deserve so much more.

The protocols are so messy. Feels like almost everyone got 2 calls. Yet Wakaba got 3.

JSF usually more and less supported Kaori, not to the level of Yuma and Shoma ofc. But Kaori is more supported than the rest, especially Waka.

Wakaba has never been beloved of JSF.

the joke of the day has just been told by the german commentator: he just said Kaori shouldn’t have been scored higher than Trusova LMAOOOOOOO

Do you know which one? I know Daniel Weiß keeps saying things like how Kaori isn't elegant and the Russians are so graceful and superior in every way blah, blah, blah...

If you ask me, he seems to think that only super thin Russian girls are elegant. One of the German Eurosport commentators also commented on Mana not being thin. What is this with old men body shaming young women... :noshake:

apparently either they or the ISU straight up hate her

I don't actually think this is JSF. I think this is the ISU covering their own ass by deciding to throw a non-Russian a bone.
