February 10, 20224 yr Ok, sorted my thoughts a little, uh (I guess moving on starts for me tomorrow not today ) The worst is that it really looks like not only judges, most media etc were against him here, but even the ice. First the accident on the short, then that bad fall and having to skate through with injury AGAIN... I really, really do think he did amazing considering all this, and wow, 4A was actually so close...But why it had to happen to him, I don't know. Not fair. Most important, I hope the injury isn't very serious, some things indicate it may be, but we don't actually know how it really is, it may be just painful and happening at the worst time, but not that bad. I don't know, I want to kling to that thought, because he just doesn't deserve this. Still, injury is injury, I hope he skips gala and focus on recovery. 10 more days in place that gave him no joy? I think no one here wants it for him... I expect that he probably will wd from worlds, injury or different reasons. We will see... I somehow think that he will be back to pursue landing of 4A next season, but I hope they won't be asking about that in the coming days, he's dissapointed and emotional, definitely needs time. Why he still has so many obligations ;; I hope he knows we love him anyway and support him in whatever he does next

February 10, 20224 yr So he is invited to the gala. When will we know if he will withdraw or not?Is it like a day before the gala itself?Just to set time to watch him again if he decided to go
February 10, 20224 yr i really hope he goes home and recovers and stays safe and in peace . fuck the gala but i know he may worry about disappointing the fans if he leaves but yuzu if you read this we just want you to recover well and be happy . take care, love

Apart from Nemesis I don’t think any of his music choices were particularly groundbreaking. Honestly I'm surprised he didn't go with Land Of All for the free. I think that showcases his style more

Javi himself said they were not close. I know about it and I don't care, I didn't expect a Javi cheering Yuzu, but, call me naive, at least I expected some honesty... Yeah, I know, I'm a fool... But I'm not good with FS tecnichs and my English is very bad, so I tried to see the Olympics with the Spanish commentors... My mistake 😅

I don't consider Javi yuzu's closest friend but great colleague who understand yuzu's situation. It's not about friendship, to me is about commentors have to be objective, but he wasn't. I really miss Paloma...
February 10, 20224 yr So I've spent rest of the day recording the full comp for archival purpose and... sighs... had to physically remove myself from the room when it came to the last group Just listening to the commentary alone is already dreadful and leaving so much bad taste.

February 10, 20224 yr Please tell me NC is officially retired now. I just can’t bear another one of his outings. Some time ago I read a comment under one video that he in his “costumes” always looks like he’s about to go to a Lidl. And I just can’t think about anything else ever since when I see him. Ah, a dude about to do some shopping at a Lidl. So please pack your shirts for your future shopping trips and leave us alone! What really stuck with me yesterday when I saw NC sit in down in the victory lounge is how empty he looked. No emotion or any reaction at all. (Compare that to Yuzu 2018 winning lol, when you work really hard and get a reward for that there’s no better feeling) but NC did nothing for it and that’s why he feels nothing and this medal means nothing. He is just a puppet with meaningless numbers accounted to him. An empty shell. That’s what he looked like to me yesterday after his “win”.

Fans who are more interested in insulting his rival? Commentators and journalists who will find another best skater the day after you retire? Nothing. [edit] It must be tiring to skate the same program with the same content for years

February 10, 20224 yr Thanks for all updates and your thoughts. This week was really not easy for Yuzu and us. I am still unable to comprehend why all this misfortune happened to him and why again. Similar as last season - amazing condition at nationals but completely wtf karma at international competition. When he fell in practice, i knew right away he hurt himself from his expression and body language. So hearing news confirming an injury, even without specifying the extent, is something i was prepared for. I am hoping for the best scenario that it is just something minor because he could at least land his jumps and walk normally, but i have a bad feeling from the way he answered that question, he avoided to mention any details and did not deny right away it is just something minor. But i enjoyed his skating. 4a was by far the most rotated we have ever seen from anybody. It was so close to q. I bet if it were some fed's favorite skater, the panel would gave them q. I hope Yuzu can be happy about this accomplishment. Watching his attempt again and again, now i am 100% confident it is possible for him. Just a tiny bit more rotation. But he needs to be healthy. 4s fall was unfortunate, but from there on he skated beautifully. I really admire how strong he is, how he managed to keep it together despite the two falls at the beginning, his injury, the pressure and the disappointment from the short program. I could feel he skated from his heart and did his best. When i saw clips from mixed zone and how much emotional he was, i cried too. They really should gave him more time to calm down and first of all, not broadcast the parts when he had to turn back and wipe his tears. That was cruel from the media. And he usually manages to stay calm, so i guess he is really heartbroken now and it breaks my heart. I wish he had somebody there to hug him immediately and tell him he did great and they are proud of him. On the one hand, i would love to see his exhibition, but considering his injury and his feelings and how frankly he said he does not enjoy the games, it would be much better for him to return to Japan as soon as possible. To calm down, be with his family, rest and relax.
