This is footage of just the 3A3Lo. I've been waiting for this. I couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw that in the reports. :rubeye:

It's incredible! Has anyone ever even attempted a 3A3Lo? I think only Yuzu can do this. :strong:

Has Yuzu even ever done a 3Lo combination before? 3A3Lo is actually insane!!! It it weren't for all the 4A news, this would be the sensation! :cheer:

Iirc, Petr Gumennik's done it. At least, he did as a junior. Not sure if he still does.

What incredible news to wake up to today. Yuzu just keeps on astonishing, surprising and delighting me!

His 4A attempts today looked so much better than his last attempts in public. I was so anxious and scared when I watched him fall again and again after throwing himself into the air without mercy. It was heartbreaking.

I can't imagine how much courage and determination it must have taken him to fling himself into the air like that. I can't imagine how many times he must have crashed into the rock hard, unforgiving ice. I can't imagine how painful and exhausting it must have been to fall and fail time after time, physically, mentally and emotionally.

But Yuzu has done it! His 4As today looked to be mightily improved. They looked so much lighter, easier, and relaxed. And, most importantly, Yuzu actually remained on his feet! What a triumph! What an inspiration! :multibow:

And let's not forget his 3A3Lo. How incredible is that?!? And how easy it looked when Yuzu did it. Absolutely mind blowing! :ganba:

Thanks! Good to know. :2thumbsup:

I can imagine that it must be infinitely harder to do as an adult.

I'm so excited it's been so long and here he is with nessie again

And not only the, 3A-3Lo is interesting, do we have a footage of that anywhere? i couldn't find

Edit:

Yes we do, it is so pretty :embSwan:

The 3A3Lo could give him a pretty big BV boost if he decides to use it in competition.  (Which he should. It’s incredible.) Swapping out 3A2T for 3A3Lo gives him 3.6 more points. That by itself would Zayak, so he has to make another layout change. If he changes the 3Lo to a 3F, that’s 0.4 more points. There’s no time to set up a 3Lz at that point in TenChi.

So 4 points higher in BV, if he’s okay with adding in a toe jump.

Also, I made the mistake of checking Twitter when I woke up in the middle of the night. I saw the practice reports and couldn’t get back to sleep. Waking up in time to catch the last two groups of men is going to be rough tonight!

My heart rate got up to 109 when I saw the first footage of the 4A. Squid Game didn't even do this to me.

I was driving home yesterday and noticed that the outdoor ice rink is ready in my village. It reminded me of last year, when I spent my Christmas mornings watching Japanese nationals and afternoons skating outside. Back then, Yuzu gave us two wonderful new programs that I've re-watched countless times over the last year.

I'm so exited to see his new sp and feel like his skating is a Christmas gift in itself.  And I just love love love Heaven and Earth as a program and cannot wait to see it again.
And when it comes to his 4A... well what a day it has been! There has been so much progress and the jump looked huge. I hope he gets to fulfill his dream and land it to his standards soon.

Gumennik hasn't attempted one since 2018, at least in elite competition

I did a bit of searching and the only successful senior men's attempt I could find was this:

Spoiler

Waaaah my beloved Planet is back😭😭😭 for some reason it still wouldn't load a few minutes ago.

missed you guys (even tho I have been busy till 1h ago do I couldn'teven check ice I wanted LOL). Twitter just isn't good enough for all the emotional screaming I need to do😭😭😭😭

Hugs everyone and thank you staff:201111231756430f6:

Now the emotional screaming part:

I love Yuzu so much😭 each clip leaves me in awe, the sal the 3A twizzled, that BEAUTY of 3A3Lo, 4S, 4S3T from earlier clips, those 4A attempts who cares rotastill missing the form is so beautiful, the new Tenchi opening (I wonder why the change? It's soooooo unusual skating away from judges, so cool  scenes tho I love ths original token, but this one feels so unexpected and unique!), and GOSH his interviews too:tumblr_m9gcvqToXY1qzckow: the thoughts behind selecting Roncapu (did I write the nickname right?), how he is choosing to approach 4A through beautiful axis because only rotational speed isn't enough, youbcan really tell how much he's been working and mulling over... and mostly on his own in Sendai. And his feelings for this comp and olys too, and not wanting to give up on Nessie.

(My heart hurt when he mentioned recovery from injury and how he had to do with what he could get in Sendai)

In brief: I love Yuzu🥺🥺

In the excitement of posting I didn't reread and left tons of typos:headslap::embSwan:

Yesterday, he decided to seriously aim for the Beijing Olympics w/ utmost effort.

Well, talk about priority here :xD:

I’m thankful for Pandaguy for streaming the event since Japan is so obsessed with having a media monopoly but if the quality tomorrow is anything like today with the ladies I’m gonna cry.

Yuzu with 3A/3L? Ah, a dream come true. I loved it when Abt did it, I remember watching it all those years ago... that's a guy who had great talent but great injuries to match. Anyway, loving the 3A/3L!!!
