In recent Twitter exchanges among Japanese fanyus, we are beginning to beg Yuzu not to go back to the Moon - at least not yet   This is in reference to the old Japanese story “Kaguya-Hime”  - about a lovely baby girl who was found inside a bamboo stalk and adopted by an indigent couple. Over many years she brought great joy, prosperity and pride to the couple, but when they tried to force her to marry a high official, a winged carriage flew in to carry her back to her heavenly abode in the Moon. She is the ephemeral lunar spirit - beautiful and évanescent- whom we can never hold down to our earthly ways.

So when we view an extraordinarily beautiful creature, we cry and beg it not to return to the Moon.   Zuzu, don’t go back to that lunar world - at least not yet!

Thanks! Good to know.

I can imagine that it must be infinitely harder to do as an adult.

Gmenik is still doing the second loop this season, and he's the only Russian man doing it.  He is also a special skater with beautiful movements, able to do a nice loop jump.

Has Yuzu even ever done a 3Lo combination before? 3A3Lo is actually insane!!! It it weren't for all the 4A news, this would be the sensation!

for me it's the sensation!! it's mindblowing. i bet he's been training it as practice for 4A?? maybe?

This is what the people deserve! The mystical 2A shall not remain a fiction of my imagination

A cryptid as big as the Hanyu himself

Wow! Yuzu's progress is even clearer in this photo comparison than the side-by-side videos.

His axis was so perfect on the JNats attempt. This is absolutely amazing!

And look how big the jump was compared to the WTT attempt. The distance he covered with one single jump! The height was also incredible. I would really love to have some ice scope analysis and numbers on this one.

New to this forum, sorry if this isn't the right place, but how many hours until the SP practice? There's still 1 more practice before the competition?
