In the meantime I totally forgot we'll get to see a new short program soon.

I am so looking forward to it! I guess we have to take Rondo Capriccioso as the calm before the storm. But we know that he is the storm.

Let's just trust him, he knows what he is doing or isn't doing. Losing our nerves and hair is the side effect. I am happy that the waiting comes to an end. Stay safe Yuzuru! Thank you for the warning and Good luck!

I have no doubt that Yuzu is the best skater he has ever been. He has been consistently getting better and better since the beginning of his career. I look forward to seeing how far he can go yet. I just hope that he stays healthy and happy and achieves his goals. :smiley-angelic001:

And that madman really implied that he might attempt a 4A during his FP? :smiley-shocked032:

And there I was thinking he would be going for a "gentle" comeback after his injury and do slimmed down programs. :rofl2:

[NEWS]

I watched the interview, then watched it again, then watched it once more, and could not come up with any word even in my own language. :13877886:This was exactly my mental image of my brain.:003: Then I started cleaning my room to organize my thoughts and realized that I was shocked because I underestimated Mr. Hanyu.

Although he said he had not landed 4A yet, he also said that yesterday he practiced it so hard as if it was the end of the world. That probably means he has recovered much, if not fully. So I made up my mind to let go of worries and focus on cheering as much as possible.

He said he practiced it as if it was the end of the world, thinking it would be the end of him if he could not land it, but he could go only so far to barely rotate it. Then he asked himself, "Is this really the end of you? Can you finish halfway while receiving this much support?" He also believed that he was better than his past self, so he didn't want to give up. It sounded like a very tough conversation with himself to me. If he reached the mindset toward 4A, JNats, and Beijing in such a way, as a fan, I can only support him, praying for his safety and success.

Sorry for my English and randomness. Truly, you can't underestimate Mr. Hanyu...

I guess we will have to wait until the real thing to see if he is really going to jump it here.

But oh boy....

Ps: I completely forgot about Roncapu and the possibility of him to also YOLO a 4F

PPS: I am putting all the blame on Mishin. Did he know the consequence of him giving that interview, I do wonder...

thank you @sweetwater for your translation:thanks: and also for the vivid description of how you felt LOL it feels relatable:tif::laughing:

so, in how many hours is Zuzu on ice? I saw on twitter 01:05 - 01:40 pm jst, which would be in 3hours for me, but according to Planet's calender whole practice (so group 5) would be already ending by then, so group4 should be earlier... I can't find the link to the colored schedule on the JSF event page...

I think JSF revised the schedule and the result page.

@LadyLou Yup, I think the practices changed. I've updated the practices calendar events to this: https://www.jsfresults.com/National/2021-2022/fs_j/nationalsenior/12-19_schedule.pdf

Thank you both 😊

Though my brain apparently decided not to sleep at all just to be safe🤦‍♀️

Kind of losing my mind, because knowing Zu, he will do FP RT today.

Just catching up on this thread!

Reading these 2 words together “YOLO 4A” felt so ridiculously funny 😆, but I guess that’s Yuzu, and troll lord has striked yet again 🤣
