I don't think Yuzu would ever join a collegiate team because he would just... decimate the competitors. I can imagine him helping coach it though!

That might be a screenshot from Japanese media videos. They always have the camera on Yuzu backstage and a couple of times, Yuzu started changing and it took the camera man a moment before he realized he should switch off the camera. Yuzu seems aware of it though cuz he always has his back to the camera. They don't edit those parts from the video when they broadcast. Lol.

I guess they consider it fanservice.  No judgement. As long as it's not something taken sneakily, I'm fine with it.

I'm not sure what the rules are around collegiate sport participation in Japan - but his presence would have been required and he's not in Japan during the academic year.  They may also have a requirement as far as how many years a student can be eligible.  In the states, I can't think of any college level sport that would allow a player (skater, in this case) to stay on for 6 or 7 years....  Can you think of any elite skater who does skate at their university in Japan?  Do they?

If there's any GP Series next season then the announcement could be some time late June I think. Last year we had it in 20 June, before that on 29 June. In 2017 it was announced earleir, in May, because of the Olympic season.
