Because all the ice rinks are molten currently but I wanted to learn the basic set up for the jump. So far I had only tried toeloop. I love that video! I took a lot of exercises from there to train a little at home on my own. Too bad I am stuck with doing everything on land for now. (btw I am sending you a pm)

LOL I challenge any skater to skate to anything Hiromi... she is a pianist genius, discovered her recently thanks to a violinist friend of mine. With musicians like this, I really fear of calling myself the same. She is unreachable.

I have no idea why but Kaori makes me cry every time I watch her skating. I somehow feel rawness in her skating, honesty, genuinity. Sometimes her skating is quieter than, say, Wakaba, but I really appreciate her character... I love this girl. Hope she'll show her best next season! (Also it may be because her programs are very well choreographed with the music)

What an interesting article! Thanks for sharing it, I will forever be amazed by the fact that the best of a field are always those who fight the hardest to be on top... often because they encounter more harships, more challenges. Yuzuru is the perfect example of that. I mean, it's something you understand in life, if you are one of those who didn't quite have everything (or anything) really handed to you. But not many of us grow up to be Olympic Champions. So Yuzuru is truly a case to be studied for the years to come.

Ciao virgola! Io ci sarei voluta andare tantissimo! Se non fosse che lo stesso anno (a marzo) tenterò di andare in Giappone (ho già comprato il volo aereo) e quindi tenterò di andare ai mondiali di Saitama, ho finito decisamente i fondi annuali per le competizioni di pattinaggio... xD Se ci sarà una super offerta e troverò voli a meno di 150 euro, potrei anche considerare l'opzione però u_u
