I can't hear what he says (my pc's audio is terrible) but I guess that people are chuckling at his reply because he was evidently very vague like not wanting to reveal too much? Btw, Nomura Mansai is the ultimate uncle and I have feelings for him. I think he's one of the few who might be considered from Hanyu's Planet as well, in terms of Artistic accomplishment and genius mind.

Like creating two different categories of errors which are weirdly not interchangeable though the words 'serious' and 'significant' are synonims of the English language? xP

Can TAT act as a cushion between them? Like, literally too, maybe...? -
*MOOD* (I'm not only bored, I am sleepy but it's too darn hot inside my home to sleep, so I am stalling in the terrace, writing on my phone in the dark like a creep)

Well yeah, it's great, we just might be seeing the start of a new Evgenia alltogether, considering that she was quite unable to develop her personality, imo, in programs that were thought too strictly around her and did not melt well with her heart. She might bloom like a pretty flower! -
Maybe they'd think of a plan Thanos style: divide the population into two categories. The Artistic people and the Technical people. And then throw a dice and see who gets tough luck.

More like * Horror * Like I still dream at night about that "Bye-Bye" in Evgenia's SP... -
And after all that special number he did together with Angelo Dolfini on steps preceding jumps, all that technical, professional and accurate description of what was a perfect jump with transitions and what was a jump lacking something, what was a step before the jump and what wasn't... the ISU went ahead and eliminated the steps preceding the jump as a requirement. Just.

Well that is a Sambo classic. Weird-ass sounds just randomly inserted within the music cut for... reasons which are unknown to me. -
How many more scandali do we have to witness before Ambesi will go under Bianchetti's door in the night and kidnap his dog asking to review and rewrite the ISU rulebook handbook as a ransom?

Like the audio is not good quality but that's what I guessed, yeah Poto is so great, it's such a shame that it's overused, but I get why... I find myself singing 'Think of me' from time to time because it's too sweet! Unsurprisingly, Yuzuru's POTO is the best mix I've ever heard in FS. -
PER CUI NON PUOI NON DARE CENTO! QUI DEVI DARE DIECI SU TUTTO! Coreografia, 10! Interpretazione, 10! Transitions, MA NE VOGLIAMO PARLARE?? Puoi vederti gli altri!! (I gave up trying to understand tech talk and now my head is full of ita esp, sorry not sorry)

I hope he does and think that he will for reasons that other people pointed out previously~ And if he will we will probably cry a lot. People who changed lives, eh? Whose lives? Yuzuru changed his own, and in turn, thousands of lives with him. Perfect theme for another performance of Haru Yo Koi, right? Right?

Found it on the Planet in the Media Index page, but here it is anyways! Cry away
-
Wait, in case of fall isn't there the obligation to give -5? Hahahah I am so bad at keeping up with them!

Who told me it was a good idea to watch 24HTV from 2015? I had never seen Requiem and Hana Ni Nare performed there and they were crying worthy... especially Requiem... I'm a puddle of feels now...

I know it's not the perfect excuse, but the "weird" parts of POTO's soundtrack at least have a reason for existing, because it's the music that the Phantom wrote. The Phantom should be a literate, musical genius and the music he writes is misunderstood by everyone at the Opera, because it's not canonically beautiful, more like 19th century dodecaphonic music. I guess Andrew Lloyd Weber tried to do everything he could to replicate a kind of music that was described through only words in the book! Okay, now that it's discovered that I'm a POTO nerd, I'll just go hide away... -
I think it was also a choice of his not to debut any of his programs in ice shows, not even in those in late July, where he could be in better conditions, rehab-wise. After all, he did say that he had already chosen the music, but would not disclose. I think he likes it this way, it's his style: waiting until everything is close to perfection, when he can give an image of the programs that he can be 'satisfied' of (although he's never fully satisfied). It's a wise style. It's ingenuous. Because first impressions are really important. He wants to disclose when he already has an interior image of the program, whereas many skaters make it a 'norm' to debut a program when they still are not so sure about the theme, the feeling, the colour of the program. I guess it became a big deal because it just makes the difference between 'normal skaters' and 'Yuzuru Hanyu' clearer. We all joke about it, but it's the little things like this that matter. Shoma Uno doesn't have to wait extra time to present his programs, because it doesn't take him much to get an image of the program. Wheather this image is as elaborate as it could be, as thought of and as interesting as it could be... well. Shoma will forgive me for always using him as an example. But I could say the same thing about Nathan, or Jin, or some ladies.

Wow. Well, as you said, this cannot be excused and it's not even hiding in plain sight. It's evident. How is the ISU going to save their reputation with this kind of scoring? It's impossible. (I foresee that we're gonna have the saltiest Ita esp. we've ever had this year, LOL).

I think the same thing plus I hope it will be after my vacation times since I will probably be away from the pc

Well, very high for sure. But if an error is not serious, I would say that 0 GOE is more appropriate than a positive GOE. I mean, maybe Yuzu's 4Lutz at CoR deserved a positive GOE even with that iffy landing that was still pretty smooth. Because it wasn't such an evident error, it was still pleasant to watch. The positives outbalanced the negatives. While a popped jump, in most cases, is evidently a mistake, and it can interrupt the flow of the program... Yuzu's 1A at WTT didn't deserve positive GOE imo. And that was yet another case because it was taken after an IB and a SE, while Gogolev's 3A's entry... I don't remember hah! Anyways yeah, I'm against positive GOE's for pops that are more than 1 rotation. A quadruple that becomes a triple can be pleasant to watch and keep the flow - Patrick Chan for reference.
-
And that 1A definitely didn't need positive GOE? Or did they want to continue a sort of tradition of +GOE pops from Yuzu to Gogolev? xD
-
Eeek! This will be my first program announcements that will definitely NOT be recycled! *this doesn't count as jinx come on, it's basically 100% sure* I am so hype!
