  1. Because of the rule change it's not that surprising that Shoma chose a warhorse for his free skate. The music is very nice but it makes me usually, so I'm curious whether the choreography will be interesting enough... But It's possible that lot of people will compare his program to Dai's Moonlight Sonata, especially now that Dai is back. Yuzu skated to it Danse Macabre when he was 11/12, it was part of his SP
  2. We don't have a thread about the whole book, but gladi translated some parts of it here:
  3. The first link @Floria posted is this: and the second: I don't have these magazines but both look very good: the first one is a bigger magazine with around 100 pages, 80% Yuzu content (and a poster I think). The second one is 80 pages and 90% of the magazine is about Yuzu
  4. Is this it? It's such a pretty music! It reminds me a little bit of the Amelie soundtrack. I think this style suits Kaori.
  5. The deadline for the entries is 20 July (Friday) so I think we'll know the assignments the week after that. For JPG Austria the entries will be out a week later probably, in the beginning of August. Depending on some things I'd like to go to JGP Slovakia, so I can't wait for the assignments
  6. She turned 20 in April. I'm very happy for Anna, congratulations & I wish them all the best!
  7. Congratulations Yuzu, he deserves this honour so much. I hope he enjoys every moment of this special day. And it's really nice that he wore a hakama which was made in Sendai. He looks beautiful in it
  8. Pink sakura fairy is such a beauty! Also yay, tuki is back She's one of my favourite fanartist
  9. It depends on the preferences I think. At GP events competition days are long (especially if there's a possibility to go the practices as well) so I prefer to stay near the arena, and by near I mean in 20 min walking distance or no more than half an hour by public transport. I usually don't have time to go to shopping and I don't stalk skaters either, but I don't like spending too much time on travelling...simply because it's tiring. I'd prefer more comportable hotels too but those are really expensive everywhere. In Moscow and also in Gangneung I was lucky to find very cheap accommodation in a walking distance from the arena. I can't afford both so I rather pay more for good seats than for better accommodation...
  10. There are available hotels, but the best hotel are probably sold out (Aerostar in Moscow is sold out for example) It's just more comfortable to stay near the venue, especially if you go to watch practices in the morning and/or the competition ends late in the evening.
  11. No one else will be from TCC in Moscow. Going back to Canada for a week and then back to Europe would be a bit difficult...I'm curious if Yuzu stays somewhere in Europe or he goes back for such a short time.
  12. It's a very interesting choice, I wouldn't have thought that Finland could get the GP and it's a big surprise that Yuzu goes to not just one but two European GPs! Europe is a lucky place for him, so I hope everything will be okay with going to Finland and Russia and he'll enjoy these competitions and will have fun and success there. Good luck Yuzu!
