  1. I have faith in Shae-Lynn and if the choreo is good then it'll be all right. I think R&J can be a good choice for Jun! I'm also curious about Cinderella
  2. I hope it's Nino Rota That music is so beautiful, I'll never get bored of it!
  3. BV is one thing, but overall he shouldn't have beaten Yuzu's Hope & Legacy TES at Helsinki which was underscored. Yuzu should have got more GOE on some of his elements there (it still makes me angry that he didn't get any +3 GOE). At the same time, I think Nathan should have got a bit less GOE in PyeongChang - and it Milan too, since the two TES were basically the same at this two competitions. I agree with @Murieleirum and I think that the scores were not okay.
  4. It was a really huge 3A. It's a lot higher than it was before...
  5. It's sad to hear but I wish Vale and Ondrej all the best and I hope she can find a new partner and continue skating.
  6. All-event tickets are already on sale and tomorrow single tickets will go on sale too. We have a thread here where we can discuss Rostelecom Cup tickets & meet-ups etc.
  7. Racing was a really fun program by Yagudin, sadly he had to retire early in that season, so he couldn't skate to that program at bigger competitions. And we'll see Sena next weekend at JGP Canada, can't wait!
  8. I didn't know Sena was named after Ayrton Senna! Sena's new SP might be inspired by Alexei Yagudin's "Racing" short program from 2002/2003. The music is the same, Played-A-Live by Safri Duo, but Yagudin named his program "Racing" and the theme of the program was car racing. Sena's unusual costume is most likely inspired by Senna's famous red and white Mclaren race suit (he won his three World titles with team McLaren): I'm looking forward to this program so much
  9. We were all shocked I couldn't see his legs at all on the ice but the white costume looked great on him off-ice And when I first saw THAT purple costume during the NHK warm-up (first only the pants then the whole thing) I couldn't believe my eyes. It was a very unusual colour choice but the costume suited him and the program perfectly
  10. Yes, it looks really good. I'd like anything black, asymmetric, sparkly and a bit see-through to be honest. But I have a feeling he'll surprise us with something completely different
  11. Stephen is very early so it's too to predict anything - whether he'll be a dominant skater or how well he would do in Beijing (or whether he'll be there is Beijing). A lot happens in this sport in four seasons, and even more happens with a junior skater from one season to another, growth spurt and/or injuries can end a career very quickly. He might have a very good chance to win Junior Worlds next year - especially that the junior men's field is not deep now - but I wouldn't go as far as thinking about what happens to him in the distant future. Stephen's idol is Yuzu - he said it not just in the JW interview but also when I met him in Bratislava, he talked about Yuzu enthusiastically, which was nice! But they are in a completely different stages in their careers, and Yuzu is 10 years older than him, so whatever happens in the next seasons it's not possible to compare their situation to Yuzu and Javi's.
  12. Satoko's English is really good but she lived in the US for 2 years when she was a child, so that helped a lot
  13. It'd be a nice short program. It wouldn't be completely new so it'd make some things easier for him.
  14. This looks perfect, isn't it?
  15. Denis on the cover of the German figure skating magazine, Pirouette (x)
  16. Welcome to the Planet, enjoy your stay here!
  17. We still don't know which Muse piece he chose. Am I a bit too hopeful that it's not Exogenesis?
  18. I'm looking forward to his programs. The FS for the obvious reasons, and the SP because Appassionata is a piece that I have always liked (Slutskaya later Pitkeev both skated to this music, both programs were so beautiful). I'm also curious about Gachinski's work. As for Misha, I'm trying not to judge his music choices now. I'll wait for the programs and see...
