are you joking? I can't tell..

she posted it right after Boyang skated and before Shoma started. Also she clarified in her answer, that it was referring to Boyang ..

i dont understand how can a figure skater even tweet something like this??? but i guess nbc commentator (tara n jhonny) werent the only one that has no sportsmanship

Also, today is a free for all in this thread, right, because a lot of this rambling should go in fluff/gen chat and I'm not even sure what should go where but here is where we died a thousand deaths and lived again.

this is all the aftermath of the free so don't worry abt it lol

I'm not sure he will skate to seimei again competitively if he's not going to worlds :P

But we already had GPF 2015 and NHK 2015 Seimeis. The greatest free skates in history.

I think we'll see it again. Maybe not competitively, but who cares about that. He has won everything. Now I only want the joy of watching him skate. ISU and their judging can go shove their heads in a bucket with prerotation.

I genuinely believe Boyang will surpass the others. He GETS IT. That’s my entire issue with Nathan and Vincent. They don’t get it. Seems like Shoma gets it too but his technique may give him trouble.

You know what just dawned on me that made me sad.  Even though Boyang did amazing here and got 4th, all people will remember among the quadsters is Shoma's silver or Nathan's 6 quads.  Boyang is the awkward middle child that is forgotten.  Well don't worry BB, I will remember you and I am proud of you!!!

Don't worry, Yuzu remembers and is proud of him too!

I know, I was being sarcastic, because Nathan has more crossovers than the both of them.

according to that video Nathan has 19, Boyang 20 and shoma 15 cross-overs... I had other numbers in my memory, but oh well ...

THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE who provided those quick links!! You're the best and most knowledgable skating community out there!:thanks::smiley-love017::2thumbsup:

Oh he's got new challenges alright with the format changes next season. And if Brian's interview is hinting at anything, I think Cha would be interesting next season. Boyang too.

As for patterns- after Dick Button, only Yuzu and Ilia Kulik have won Olys at their first outing, with Yuzu being the only repeat gold of the 2. The other guys are all doing the not gold in first Olys pattern.

Somehow Nathan seems like he has more. Oh well, maybe it's because when he's not doing crossovers he's just skating around setting up for a jump or something. Honestly it was a jumping routine from where I was watching.

I am staring hard at you, USA judge

See, this is what I was talking about after SP.

I had been in some sort of competition before (nothing sport, I am hopeless), which was judged. When a judge favoured me cz he knew my mother and gave me a score that was so off from the other judges, I was mightily insulted. Because to me what it said was that he did not trust my ability enough, that he had to 'prop' me so I can 'win'.

That's what I always thought whenever I see national bias like that: these judges are insulting their athletes by not judging them for what they delivered, but for what country they were born in. Such people should not be allowed anywhere near any sport.

ETA: look at the JP judge getting the top 10 correct. Be more like the JP judge.

You mean the long or the short? Cause I think Shoma had more in the long.

If Yuzu isn't at the next olympics, I'll have my eye on Cha and Boyang. Junhwan's programme today was really lovely. He felt it and he made me feel it. Boyang's improvement is remarkable. Shoma could be that good if he fixed his jumps, so I hope he will now that this is over.

OMG The video link posted was of the SP! So my memory didn't fail me at all!

Is there a similar FS video?

shoma said that its not quantity but quality today, so i think he's in the right direction! :tumblr_inline_n18qraikFP1qid2nw:

I would love for Nathan to win me over with his skating but he hasn't come close to that yet. I'm still not convinced that he is really passionate about skating as opposed to just doing it because he happens to be good at it.

But Boyang is different. I do see passion there and I've become quite fond of him.

This is the analysis. Shoma has 41, Nathan 38, and Boyang 29.
