I'm not going to bash Shoma with it! It's just that Ashley Wagner tweeted a really mean tweet, saying that please Shoma skate well, because cross-overs (referring to Boyang) shouldn't medal. 

 

I'd like to comment below, that apart from it being a mean tweet, shoma has more cross-overs in his FS than Boyang (even if they are of higher quality).

Shoma had a lot of crossovers in the second half today.

 

Don’t get me wrong, he was good, but his short is so much better 

I don't know what to think anymore I'm so happy for his victory yet so sad to hear about his injury... I really hope it'll be fine and he'll be able to go to Milan, but I don't know anything anymore

You know...I know Yuzu wasn't throwing shade at all, but I cant help but noticed he didn't mention Nathan at all in his inspiration and pioneers for the sport.  He talked about Javi, Boyang and Shoma as his motivations...To me it shows who he really felt were the medal threats at PC2018.  That says a lot to you U.S. media

she posted it right after Boyang skated and before Shoma started. Also she clarified in her answer, that it was referring to Boyang ..

I just don’t think Nathan figured into his development. He already knew what he wanted to do before he even came on the scene. It’s only accidental, not intentional shade.

Eh? You sure? Cause um, I recall translating it and Shoma had nearly 50, and boyang had around 30...
