a 100% Zu would be like in Helsinki. with his quads all there. But for real, we know that he still cannot do some of his jumps, so essentially we have known for a while that he is not healed perfectly

A 100% Zu would be better than Helsinki. Not that I’m complaining, seeing that will always be one of the greatest experiences of my life.

And we'll get a ton of fluff content with happy two time Olympic champion Yuzu in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can live with that. He doesn't have to do Worlds.

Honestly, I don't even care if he never does the 4Lz again and never lands Nessie if that's the trade off for him being healthy, pain-free and happy after he stops skating competitively. I wanted this because this was his goal and I couldn't bear the thought of him failing to achieve the goal he had set for himself. He has, now. He really has done everything now.

Also, I still can't believe he won!! He fought so hard and trusted his team and had a performance of his life on the biggest stage. His reaction at the end was everything that I can hope for. And his tears.... I am so, so proud and happy for him!

Somebody has to have taken a video of Nessie though. I don’t need to see it in competition, I just need to watch practice footage. Miki why were you slacking

Oh, Yuzu... whatever he decides about WC I'll take this, cuz his health and happiness comes first, even if I know I'll be sad not to see him once again, but he left so much on this Oly ice today, who can blame him if he WD (still hope the situation is not that bad)

Planetary f*cking treasure and I don't care even a wee bit that I'm repeating myself. Another plus seventy-seven GOE.

Thank you!

Time to save stuff. And yes...it's sooo good to see him win. He probably saved figure skating and the ISU for another season. All his doubters can all go eat dung. =)

I'm tempted to say that, it might be that his ankle is still a bit weak, I mean, he only has been jumping for 3 weeks, and having to jump probably prolongs his healing period a bit more, but it doesn't seem like Boston. Also, ligament/soft tissue takes longer to heal than hard parts (bones). Hence it's a good thing he didn't push for Loop-that torque and push from take off would be asking too much.

it's ok he will be healed soon

Heh yeah, knowing he has landed it, I would love to see it. Not for competition. I want nothing more for stupid ISU scores. Now everything is for the joy of watching him and nothing else.

QUICK REPLY APPRECIATED :thanks:

Hey does anyone remember how many crossovers shoma has? and how many Boyang? If I remember correctly, Shoma has more?

I'm not going to bash Shoma with it! It's just that Ashley Wagner tweeted a really mean tweet, saying that please Shoma skate well, because cross-overs (referring to Boyang) shouldn't medal.

I'd like to comment below, that apart from it being a mean tweet, shoma has more cross-overs in his FS than Boyang (even if they are of higher quality).

Still landed one beautifully, he did. And if Nathan hadn't bombed, he would've landed it in his free skate.

Fanyu culture is being back to worry and panic mode about him not even 2 hours after he won his 2nd OGM

This is why I love you guys so much. Most of you are worriers--just like I am! :smiley-laughing021:
