Oh my goddddd

I can't hold it in any longer. Doesn't that photo look like he has sequinned braids or something, the decor behind him...

Haha yes, pigtails...

Yes! I love Jason and I love every photo I see of him, especially if it's anything to do with Yuzu, but I can't look away from them!

Sunshine and sweetness, even with multiple sparkly braids.

Finally I could calm down. What a day. The moment I knew he wasn't at morning practice, I felt scared. Last night, I already prepared for the worst situation and think "its fine, GPF is important but his health come first". But I still wait for a miracle. And it didn't happen. Reading the news about his WD and he was crying while making the decision is the last straw for me. And to think he has no choice make it even more devastated. Its been a long time since I cried, may be since Boston.

Unlike last season, when I knew he wasn't at his best condition at the beginning, I made up my mind that he could WD at any event. This season, he's ready and well trained, then just one single fail jump and NHK+GPF gone. For me the GP series ended here. Sorry but I couldn't watch comp right now, I need a break from FS. I wish nothing but a speedy recovery for Yuzuru. He'll comeback even stronger. I hope he know that many people love him, a lot of skaters wishing him well in SNS. He and his team will need to rethink about plan/layout for the rest of the season and I trust them to make the right decision. I don't know if he can do a senior b before National, since we don't know how long his knee/ankle need to be healed. 4CC is also tricky because the timing is too near to Oly. Anyway, the first priority right now is his health. Pray that we only get good news from here

@daisyjune I feel you :grouphug:. I knew his WD right before my workshop. I'm so shocked that I made a few mistakes during the session that my colleagues were worried about me, even the students asked if i was ok. I had to go home later because I couldn't concentrate to my work. It must be terrible for many fans that attend the competition.

Yesterday I experienced first hand what a real broken-hearted feeling was, my tears kept running down and I wanted to scream to the stupid fate or axis or whatever leading to that painful fall! What anguishing feeling! So this is what it’s like to be a fan, and I would do it again a thousandth times more to follow Yuzu. I am so thankful I have this planet to cry with and seek comfort . You guys are the best !And to read that he was shocked and cried making the decision....oh Yuzu , the pain you’re going through, both physically and mentally....and to read the reports from  our satellites going to NHK, @KatjaThera and @SparkleSalad, you are not alone, we are there with you , be strong like our Yuzu, make the most out of it , there’s an idiom from ancient Chinese philosophy like this, please excuse my rough translation ,” when great men were destined to achieve important task, life will throw all possible hardships at them, making them tasting the bitter biles, lying on spiked mat,...but in the end they will prevail”

On the side note , the stupid Fates, You throw enough BS at this young man, ENOUGH is ENOUGH ,I’m telling you

I would like to restate my thought

I believe in YUZU

I believe in our PLANET

I believe in our SUPPORT and LOVE for YUZU

I believe YUZU will draw strength from FANS and HIMSELF to overcome

SEIMEI is on repeat mode

hugs to you as well! :10742289: I really like this quote! he will prevail in the end, yes! <3 we all believe in you yuzu :grouphug:

Now I am back from work, had seen the news in the morning before work, and caught up on the thread. The first shock is over, but when I saw the changed theme, it gave me an empty, hollow feeling, but yes, the best way was to change it.

When there was this server breakdown on Sunday or whenever it was, my first thought was: something bad has happenend, the forum broke down because of too many postings...perhaps I have too much olympic tension or whatever, that I imagined the worst.

Today the bad  thing really happened.

I am afraid, it might put even more pressure on Yuzu at the Olympics...but who knows what time will bring. Nothing in life is sure.

Sorry for rambling, I am still sad..but things cant be helped. Greetings to all the satellites:10742289:

I'm actually surprised by those all people...fanyus are bad because they buy out all the tickets before the 'real fans' can get them, right? So now is actually the time to get yourself, a 'real fan', a ticket and be glad that this chance appeared, isn't that right?

Personally if I had a ticket I would sell it, not because I don't want to see a competition, but because all those people screaming in the internet about how much they love the skaters that are going to appear in it- and just because my favorite doesn't appear in it I shouldn't be mean and block all those other people. Most of Yuzufans are probably selling their tickets by the same price they bought it with, so it's not like those third rate resellers, getting tickets to something they're not interested in just to milk real fans either.

Of course there's still that reality...that there is more of us than of those screaming loud...but well, that's not our fault^^

Some light-hearted thread about Yuzu, Chiddy, & Javi

...I'm sorry but...can somebody with twitter contact that person and ask if I can steal that idea? My hand twitches so hard to have it written rn, and I don't want to make twitter only for that...It seems that when it gets to Yuzu, I have the second reaction to stress which is to write a lot. Lol, what this man is doing with me.

Thank you :10742289: I’ll be in bed tomorrow writing him a letter to go with the koala he never knew he needed.

I got a teddy bear I didn't know I needed for the exchange. Now I'm betting the fate of my competition entry on him (he's the blog mascot)... You don't know, maybe he'll become (sleepy) Pooh's assistant?

That must be one @SparkleSalad gave. I gave my three earlier in the day ^_^ Though actually, one of the ladies I gave them to knew about them, too, had seen other fans tweet about them. And another said the foreign fans forum is great - that the Italian one is good, too, but the other is great. I think she meant PH, but I didn't get to ask, because the chance to take a picture with the Yuzu billboard came then. I might try to get the courage to give more swans on Sunday... (btw, I got a lot of hugs in exchange for the swans, which surprised me a bit - Japanese people are very particular about personal space, so, them hugging me was surprising lol)

You were accepted into their Hanyu-support-group-family, so you're no longer a stranger! Plus you know comfort giving techniques are quite universal across the world, I think?

"I'm in perfect condition," he said with a bright, feverish smile that should've belied his words.

That's Yuzu.

Yuzuru 'skates in his first Words with a busted ankle/secures Olys spots with an injured knee/qualifies to GPF with bloody chin/goes to defend Nats title with bleeding stomach/ sets worlds record on a foot with lisfrantic' Hanyu, for Japan. Here, I fixed it for you.

That he does that everything  in style is another thing. Seriously, I have his skates as a background noise for the whole day today (probably the reason why I didn't go full emo mode as well), and some of my random thoughts included 'We need more medal emoticons' and 'we seriously deserve fan medals for putting up with fate of this man'

...I read many posts ago, that he went into training running a fever, but I cannot find the first post with this information. Is this true? Do we know this? It is ultimately not important, but because this day was so horrible, I would  love to understand fully what was happening...

it's on the 30th page of news&updates thread so I don't think  any of us imagined that information.

Actually, since we all become a little dizzy, does somebody remember the info about Yuzuru being now back in Sendai for a short (forced) vacation, or is this part of my overproductive imagination again?

It's true, he had a high fever the day he arrived, that's way he didn't trained on wednesday , he stayed in bed to rest ...

I've never read anything abt him resting in Sendai, but I can't say for sure, my mind is still a mess
